They want power, and want to wield it. They might have a nice patter and be able to recite party talking points, but in the end they want to be rulers. Simple as that.

You know they offer direct deposit, right? Just ask for the forms at the kiosk at your next demonstration. If you bring a voided check you can even fill ‘em out and turn ‘em back in and they’ll have it ready for the next pay period! So convenient!
I don’t know if they’re strictly “alt-rock” (I avoided “alternative” stations back in the 90's because they all played the same ten songs), I can name two good music stations that play a mix of stuff. I can’t think of any that play just 90's “alternative”, you probably need a Pandora station to get close to that.
WXRT…
I’m kind of glad it’s gone because I’d gotten a little sick of Chris Hardwick. I stopped watching when they moved it’s time a couple of times and I had to DVR it - I tend to watch any recorded half hour shows in batches, and @midnight didn’t translate well to binge watching a few days later. When I caught episodes…
I loved Undercover Elf Nanny’s first two albums.
Up until the sixties there was a push among the British manufacturers to export in general, and to the US in particular as it was a very large market. Just about anything you could imagine was sold over here for a while, though eventually the market fell to mainly sports cars and certain sedans - the typical small…
Which is what’s happened in Can-Am back in the seventies. McLaren, and later Porsche and Shadow, dominated the field and the standings. By the last seasons nobody was watching.
She’s growing up just a skosh.
Sweat pants are fine. Pajama pants are not (unless you are a very young child). Though personally I just wear my comfiest jeans and a t-shirt because anything else will be a wrinkled mess by the time I arrive.
A friend of mine was a Chili’s manager for years - I wouldn’t say he drank the well tequila margarita, but he was definitely a company man. They fired him a few years ago (I genuinely don’t know why, he’s pretty good at restaurant management and they’d usually send him to bad stores to try and turn around. Maybe it…
*two and a half (their third record starts off well but peters out. I’ve never ripped the second half to any of my devices)
I’ve heard lead singles from both on XRT, and neither have quite spurred me to spend cash money on either a single download or a physical copy (which I still buy on occasion).
But you’d be exotic. That’s just people talk for awesome.
Like 90% of the regulars flounced out after about two weeks. Supposably there’s a disqus thread of some kind that they all hang out at.
I fixed this problem! Go into Safari (or whatever browser you’re using) and change the setting to allow pop ups. I think the settings got changed with the last update, as that’s when it started happening to me.
I think the band was supposed to be an analogue to the New York Dolls (Abbey or one of her friends mentions glam rock, which Vince doesn’t know about). The Dolls liked to do covers as well (remember their cover of “Stranded in the Jungle” from the opening of Vinyl?). Anyway a bunch of bands came out around the same…
I remember seeing this one the first time - I partially like it just because of Dave Vanian’s outfit.
Man, that WMGGW just sucks till Prince gets started. It’s like they’re all sleepwalking up to then.
Flashback Story Time!
I was working in a record store back in the early to mid 90's, and had a kid come in looking for that new album by Pearl Jam’s new side project. I asked him what in hell he was talking about and he said “You know, that side project called Neil Young!” The dumbass was looking for Mirror Ball, on…
Weird, I rarely see vanity plates on Teslas around here, they all have EV plates (which cost way less to renew) and nobody pays the extra to have normal plates plus the vanity charge.
