I’m mostly looking at B8 S4s. There’s usually a couple on there at a time, but usually already reserved

Selling from a warehouse is fine - the margins/finance are not. Carvana gave me TERRIBLE (think 8%) rates even with good credit and a solid down.

I have on occasion found a few interesting cars in Carvana, believe it or not. I’m in the market and if the car I want is available via Carvana, you bet I’ll take it over having to deal with a dealer, facebook marketplace, or craigslist

I really wanted to use Carvana for my two most recent car purchases, but the selection was surprisingly (to me) limited, specifically where *color* is concerned.

I bet figuring out why the dash is lit up won’t be cheap.

Nah. Whenever someone starts talking about lit warning lights on a late-model VW, telling me “it’s a basic fix, I just haven’t got around to it”, I start backing away.

No, it indicates you a person of style and taste.  There are too few of us left in a world where people think this BMW is not only acceptable but somehow desirable.

How about a palette cleanser?

They seemed to get the cars rightish just before they went Chinese. Which engine is in your 2018? Even the early FWD cars aren’t terrible, but they sure as hell aren’t 240/740/940s either (of which I have owned 13), at least in the wide experience of the Volvo mailing list I have been on for 25+ years now. People on

That’s why I only own 2 seaters. My wife has 2 seater too. With 2 adults and 2 kids we can go anywhere we want. Once they get old enough we’ll all drive motorcycles everywhere. Fuck that shared vehicle nonsense!

That’s missing the point; the third row is rarely ever unfolded, 90% of the time it’s used as a four seater. For the two times a year you visit grandma, then you get out the third row. It’s the convenience of having it available instead of needing to rent a van when you travel, persay. That said, it’s also convenient

This is what I could manage on my lunch break:

Thanks, BMW. No one had asked even once what the bastard child of a Lexus IS and a late-’90s Pontiac would produce if it then humped a giant sewer rat. You insisted on showing us anyway.

“Origami” is spot-on here, and exactly why I haven’t loved any of the Japanese makes for quite a while. This is a terrible move by BMW.

I realize it’s just a teaser, but you know it’s gonna be bad when BMW won’t show the grilles in their entirety.

Yeah. The back end looks like the new Camry, which is trying to appear sporty. The side reminds me of the S2000 which was sporty. The front end reminds me of Pontiac just before they closed down the brand. Lots of ducts and folds and lines for visual excitement.

They took the worst of Toyota and Honda and worsened their usual clean design (beyond the pig snout). What is it with all the angularity across the board? Why does the Jaguar XKE almost always rise to the top of any “Most Beautiful Cars” listicle? Curves, baby, curves.
