I just want to point out that although you were incorrect in your first post, it seems like you read through your replies & were a big enough person to admit to not knowing the whole story.

Never explain a joke! Let another commenter post the “Went over your head” gif.

Car makers can have their own proprietary diagnostic software but are required to have standard OBDII as well. To anyone whining about intrusive government and burdensome regulations Deere is what happens when you don't have them.

Or oath to the cars as your husband witnesses?

3rd Gear: So I guess the only thing Detroit learned from the ‘00s was that frosted tips were not a good look?

Funny the things you remember or that trigger a memory. I worked in a grocery store in the 80's and 90's and there was this Jack Palance looking guy who shopped there a couple times a week. He always bought Paul Mall Straights. He said “I figure, if I’m gonna to smoke, might as well get the full effect.”

Hit up Pep Boys - they should have something you can bolt on.

I can't own a WRX because my ball caps have curved bills and I won't vape.

Agreed.  I’d take my $25k and get a 996.

Gonna say it.

It’s beautiful. The power is good, even against modern competition.

By the time I read everything, only about half of the car pictures had loaded, but 13(!) individual ads loaded for a pretty fancy woodchipper. So I am left thinking that a woodchipper was the most important thing of the last 15 years.

We are trying to get the plates “Hpy Tre”

Most of the art looks at least “high-level amateur.” The ram on the headrest though? That reminds me of the hand-drawn Slayer and Megadeth logos inside my high school buddy’s 1983 Dodge Omni.

I hope you hung onto that V4 Camry; you could sell it on BAT and retire.

Why on Earth did someone swap a Saab Sonnett engine into a fucking Camry???

Rollin’ in my 5.0 with the rag top down so my hair can blow. The girlies on standby waving just to say hi.

Too much tech in a 90s car is a bad thing 20 years later. I'm personally not a huge fan of as is stuff either. That's a gigantic "I know something is wrong, but I'm not telling you what it is" to me.

Anyone with experience with these cars knows the financial peril that comes along with them. Something is always breaking/broken, and it’s never a cheap fix. Along with that, the transverse engine layout in the tiny engine compartment make it a nightmare to work on. And honestly, when they are running, they're not all

The twin-turbo editions of this and the Dodge-labeled twin were notorious money pits. Yes they have ahead of their time techological gizmos, but tech gizmos weren’t as reliable in the 90s, and aren’t any better 25 years later. Good price if you want to move your bed into your garage, but as a dd or a wd it’s a CP.
