Golf Alltrack driver here as well, manual S. I like the Tesla, but if you’re gonna talk S7 money (Model S anyway) I feel like the interior should be there too, or at least close.

I think you have to keep in mind that Tesla needs to offset the weight of the battery packs. Yes, they could make the doors thunk heavily but you’d end up with every car weighing 5000+ pounds which isn’t really practical. I’ve owned a fair number of cars including Porsche and VW vehicles and I think your perspective…
