I never saw it coming

I agree with you that PaRappa would have been great. Ape Escape wouldn’t have worked because it was a dual analog stick game.

I think you should just hope Sony comes back with: Playstation classic: RPG Edition.

Yup! Kill it dead. Leave us with one platform, every Nintendo team working on the same machine, everyone able to play every game the company releases anywhere at any time. It’d be amazing.

Without DDR I would have lost my motivation with the diet. It was the immediate feedback of my scores being higher when I ate better that kept me on the right path.

I think the best Star Wars tech would be teleporters, you know, just like Kirk and Picard used to get places.

Isn’t the joke in Star Wars that the tech doesn’t really make anybody’s life better? I mean, this is a universe where autonomous robot labor is (presumably) cheap and widely available, but people still have slaves to handle menial tasks.

Already have an official HDMI, PS1 playing(and other), Wireless throwback machine....and if you had just secured NetFlix it could have dominated ..... grrrrr

I sure hope they release a mini PSOne, that’s the one I grew up with and have most nostalgia for :’)

I get that Nintendo made a cool thing that companies want to copy, but did they have to copy the whole “The controller cable is 5 inches long” thing too?

Here's me hoping it won't require every player to bring a PS Vita to play together, ugh...

I fucking hate the “stick with this game for 5+ hours before it gets really good” thing that games seem to be using now. The linear portion of the game sounds boring as hell.

Is this one bluetooth and did they change the glue on those back grips?

Fair enough. I’ve also got a Switch, so a lot of those games (like Overcooked) I’ve just gotten for that, especially since the Gamecube adapter lets me use my (very old) Gamecube controllers for most of the simpler party games.

Wow... that’s some nice work there. The pixel art works because the characters are larger, the actions are slower and more deliberate, and it’s not as finicky as a Smash-like, where it’s important to understand EXACTLY what move your opponent is about to use or just used.

Nice. This is the first platfighter I've seen that doesn't look like a smash clone.

I know this is borderline blasphemous to say, but I don’t like the pixel art in this game. The characters are SMALL and the pixel art makes it hard to differentiate between the fighters among all the noisy attack effects.

I didn’t have much time to watch last week’s Summer Games Done Quick, but I did carve out a chunk of yesterday for the finale, which featured speedrunner Puwexil playing through a full glitchless run of Final Fantasy VI. I’m glad I did.

“There are women out here in real life that do have these body types.”

Different game, actually!
