I can’t believe this guy is one of the frontrunners to be the GOP nom.

Oh wait, I can totally believe it. Unreal.

We bought into the hype and got it. My 21 year old loved it. Me, being 50, hated it and gave up at about 12 hours. Like you, I just wasn’t having fun with it. I can understand the appeal, but just not the type of game for me. I don’t want to have to experiment with dozens of mysterious items just to figure out what

Yeah, I’m old I guess. Iggy Pop is the only artist on the entire list I’ve heard of. Sigh.

My wife and I went yesterday. Stunningly beautiful movie (we saw in 3D and the increased framerate helped). Story was nothing spectacular or anything, but I was entertained and the 3+ hours flew by.

I set up a shortcut so I can open my camera directly to video (rather than opening my camera then having to click on the video tab). Saves a valuable couple of seconds when my kids are doing something I want to capture as quickly as possible.

I think slide 12 (Google Lens) is either out of date or my phone (Pixel 5A) is different. When I long press on the subject, I just get a little rectangle with a lock and it says that “Google Lens has moved to Modes” (where you can find it under the Modes menu)

It’s only Biden’s fault if it’s bad news /s

I’m surprised they kept the $9.99 plan. Can’t imagine many people are like “Yes, I want less content and ads to save $3/month”

I assume they’ll phase it out the $9.99 plan to bring it more in line with competitors (for example, Hulu is $7.99 for ads and $14.99 for no ads)

They should have been addressing the massive fraud a decade ago. We’ve only lived in Florida for about 18 months and have already had a half-dozen roofing companies come by saying they can report (non-existent) damage so we can get a new roof. It’s a major problem here. And I’ll be completely honest, this was not

I’m on Google Fi (not sure if the service matters for this?) but I never get spam calls and they just get sent into the void. I also have automatic screening set up for any unknown numbers which filters out anything that manages to get through.

Did you really make this a 130 page slideshow?

I got the heads up to watch The Fireplace yesterday (from another article here) and went in blind. I really enjoyed it. My wife, not so much. I was like “Hey it had a Yule Log in it so obviously was a Christmas movie.

Maybe you could win a private Zoom call with him, piss him off until he either yells at you, cries or hangs up. Record it, then sell it to the media!

Watched it last night because of this article. I really enjoyed it. Just absolutely ridiculous and I was in the mood for something off the wall so this fit the bill perfectly.

Pretty sure Apple holds a trademark for a rectangle with rounded corners.

“Young people these days love escape rooms, right?” - some D&B executive, probably.

Correction: It’s the Fabelmans, not Fablemans (it’s misspelled several times)

True there’s more competition, but they also would have gained subscribers in Q1 if not for the war (and pulling out of Russia). Yes they would have still missed their forecast but it probably wouldn’t have been as bad for their stock price as they would have had a gain instead of (their first ever) loss of
