Buying a lock that further traps you into Apple’s ecosystem seems like a terrible idea IMO. There are plenty of other smart locks out there that don’t require you to own an iPhone.

Egg-laying hens must be housed with a minimum of 144 square inches per hen

Also if you swerve and miss the deer but hit a tree or roll your car, you’re going to be considered at-fault and it’ll most likely be noted as a collision on your insurance. Make sense as then anyone who is having an accident can just claim a deer ran in front of them. I’m not sure if a dash showing the deer might

I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if they either get rid of the $9.99 plan or bump it up. Looking at Hulu, their ad tier is $7.99 but the tier with no ads is $14.99. I don’t see a reason anyone would get the $6.99 when (as you said), the tier with no ads is only another $3/month. It would just make more sense for them

Already has 1203 ratings (for a 4.4) with zero reviews. That seems about right for this platform.

I recommend not looking up the pictures.

Yeah, no Aztek? Bunch of Breaking Bad fans no doubt.

I subscribed to this up until about 2018 or so. They must’ve closed a shipping center near me because what used to be a 3 day turnaround (I’d send them back on Monday, they’d get it Tuesday and ship me a new one and I’d get that Wednesday) became a 5-7 day turnaround and it became more cost-effective to just use

I had no idea that the notorious car show was headed for Wildwood, New Jersey, because as a 41-year-old dad I fall squarely in the camp of “too old for this shit.”

Also keep in mind (at least for what I could find in an article in 2017) was that more than 70% (probably closer to 80%) of fake weapons in tests were not caught. So more than likely that would mean there’s about thousands upon thousands making it onto airplanes.

I enjoyed “Old” but the acting was pretty bad IMO which distracted from the movie. The only one I enjoyed was the 20ish year old who had to play the 6 year old...he did well.

I have a 4K in the living room and 1080's in the other rooms. I suspect most people are in the same boat with non-4k tv’s in bedrooms, garages, kids’ rooms, etc.

Touchscreens are great for some things (like setting your clock or a keyboard for putting in an address into Android Auto). Other things should be physical knobs (like fan speed or 4 ways).

I don’t want to have to navigate through a menu on a touchscreen to adjust climate controls (for example). Or deal with not being

Google Maps will cache the map for navigation (as long as you start navigating while you have a signal). But if you expect to be an area without a signal for awhile you can also download the area. That does take being a little proactive though.

I always said I’d rather work 4 10-days hour days instead of 5 8-hour days but sounds like they just eliminated a day and kept the other 4 days at 8 hours. Sweet. I hope this sees wider adoption but I suspect I’ll be retired well before it makes its way to the US in any substantial numbers.

Curious what kind of detail the JWST could provide if another object passes through. Could it track something moving through the solar system (presumably at a good rate of speed)?

I’ll stick with my Pixels for now. It’s not even hardware or software (for the most part) but rather I just don’t want to get “imprisoned” in the Apple ecosystem and like having some choices.

I wonder what the upgraded versions’ MSRP will be. I was currently looking at an Ioniq 5 SEL (MSRP ~46k) but if these come in at ~10k less for a similar ~300 mile range I would definitely be considering one...if I can wait another year that is.

Almost commented “Trump Presidency” but see you got that covered.

God, I hope we don’t have to add “Trump Presidency Part Deux” to this list.
