I looked at both Walgreens and CVS to schedule a booster but neither tell you if it’s the bivalent. Walgreens just says it’s “now offering the updated booster shot” that “protects against the Omicron variant” but that doesn’t sound like it’s the bivalent booster

Get a Sawyer instead. They make a version that will filter off bacteria and viruses and do 1 million gallons for like $30. Big fan of them.

My wife and are are 3 episodes in. It’s really good and the actress nails the mannerisms (my wife’s nephew is autistic and similar to how she behaves). I only wish the episodes were maybe 15 minutes shorter.

Disney+ releases like 3-4 hours of ‘interesting’ (YMMV) new content every month though. Like August is 2 episodes of She Hulk (about 90 minutes), Lightyear (1.5 hours) and uhm....maybe 15 minutes of the Groot Shorts. So maybe 3.5 hours on the outside for August.

Not that the back catalog is bad, but if you want new

We got up early and drove up to see it. Oh well, a morning at the beach is still a morning at the beach. Really wish we’d have seen it though. The next window is Friday and I happen to have the day off so if that window holds we’ll drive up again. It’s only 30 minutes away so not a huge trip other than traffic.

If you’re ever in Western NY, get a Texas Hot. Johnny’s Lunch in Jamestown NY has the best I’ve had. I miss living up there simply for these hot dogs.

Just looked through some of the list. $80 to tell Kevin Sorbo to his face what a tool he is sounds like a good deal.

There’s some cool people on there. Tommy Chong, Billy Boyd, Edward James Olmos, Jeri Ryan and Wayne Knight stood out on a high level quick pass through the first couple of pages. And the Hoff is on there

This doesn’t really change my mind on getting an Ioniq 5. I wish it qualified but I guess I’ll deal with it.

That seems pretty ignorant when a lab can control what goes into something vs. all the mercury, microplastics, pesticides, herbicides, etc that are so prevalent in “food that is sourced directly from the plants and animals of the land and sea”

I went to test drive an Ioniq 5 and they wanted an additional 8k markup. I laughed in their face and walked out. Don’t need a car that bad.

She was excited:

Immediately sending this to my Vietnamese wife.

Is this actually a Tesla “pool” or just some DIY thing someone came up with?

I too make all my investment choices by a short 5 paragraph Gizmodo article. I bet that’s how Bill Gates decides to invest in things as well. It’s probably not like he (or more accurately, his Breakthrough Energy Ventures investment fund) got a lot more detailed rundown on the tech before throwing $20M at it.

Oooh, Desantis isn’t going to like that. Wonder how he’ll decide to punish Disney this time.

None of these sound as fun as winning the Mega Millions though. I mean, a double-yolk would be cool, but not nearly as cool.

In other news, everyone already knows your odds are slim. But it’s freaking $2 for a little excitement. Who cares?

I can’t picture many companies wanting to issue VR hardware to all their employees anyways that they’ll have to purchase and support. Seems like a non-starter IMO anyways and the possibility of companies actually implementing this “metaverse” is probably overblown.

When done well, these pictures demand to be seen on the biggest screen possible, on opening night, with a rowdy audience ready to have fun.

It’s honestly pretty amazing we can be this far into a pandemic (let along whatever general education people get along the way through their life) and people like you still don’t have the first clue what vaccinations actually do and somehow think they create some kindof magical force field or something.

I can only

I saw him outside Wawa switching the prices himself (I wouldn’t have noticed him if not for all the Secret Service around)
