My parents literally just put me in a basinet and set it in the frontseat (this was back in the early 70's). It’s a wonder I’m alive. LATCH is amazing.

Holy crap I missed that part of the review. What a horrible design decision. I’m in the same boat where I’m lucky if I can sit down and play for an hour or two. I am assuming by “no save” means you can’t switch games, but you could pause and resume later, but still, I might be able to play 2-3 nights a week for an

If you are vaccinated, then why would you care?

This is a crappy method. All ovens I’ve ever used (that I’ve owned and in our rental units) just have screws to remove that allow you to separate the front and back of the oven door, giving you access to clean the inside. Open the door and there’s one in each corner (the top two also usually hold on the handle).

I still have both GTA V and RDR2 in my backlog because frankly , the time commitment scares me. It took me about 6-7 months to play Witcher3 (being and adult, husband and father with responsibilities doesn’t lend a lot of time for games). I want so badly to play them, but I could play them (spending probably over a

I personally don’t mind the indicator if it’s not so intrusive you can’t see anything. I would like to see some more innovation around health anyways....I don’t know that I’ve ever been a fan of “take cover for 5 seconds and all the bullet wounds magically heal” but it’s not much different than “pick up a health pack

I think it’s just more the “we must run several articles a week ripping on Tesla to meet our quota” thing you’re seeing, which doesn’t reflect the real world as most people don’t hang out on car forums.

And yet both treadmills and jetskis require you to attach the kill switch/string to yourself (in other words, the mechanism is there but it’s super-easy to ignore it/bypass it). I don’t know anyone that uses it on a treadmill (I’ve looked around the gym and little to nobody does). Jetskis are a little different in

Stoked for Love, Death & Robots and Army of the Dead. Oxygen sounds a bit intriguing (if reminiscent of that Buried movie with Ryan Reynolds). Also a bit interested in Eden and Jupiter’s Legacy. I have yet to finish season 2 of Master of None but probably should get back to that as well since Season 3 is coming out. My

I’ve heard Staples and Office Depot copy the card and laminate the copy and give you the original back unlaminated. Not sure as I haven’t made it over there yet (planning on it early next week). Also not sure if these “freebies” will accept the copied/laminated one as proof. Honestly there’s absolutely no security

We live near an airport and also along a busy road so we’ve used a white noise machine since we moved in. We use the Marpac Dohm ones which are really just a fan with adjustable holes to control the volume (rather than one that plays electronic rainforest/rain/music sounds). It’s worked well and tends to “smooth out”

I fall into the camp that using “fuck” sparingly has a greater impact. I have never met anyone who uses it to a ridiculous extent like some characters, and it tends to make the dialog sound forced, lazy and fake if a character (or cast of characters) seemingly can’t say a single sentence without mixing in at least one

I agree as I would want different settings if I was playing with my friends (where we joke/swear/make fun of each other....but it’s all in jest) vs. when I play with random people where it can be a bit much and not used in the same vein that my friends and I use.

Seeing a therapist/counselor doesn’t permanently bar you from owning a firearm. But that frequently is not covered by insurance and costs money so people don’t even seek that out if they recognize they might be having some anger issues.

Providing access to mental health resources would be socialism.

I don’t know if this counts as a “road trip” but about 15 years ago I helped a friend move from PA to Florida so he drove the U-Haul while I followed in his car. Somewhere around North Carolina we started having issues with the truck where it would lurch and the transmission started dying and we slowly lost gear after

I was just really tired the day after my second dose (of Pfizer). Got it on Friday and felt like I was walking around in a dream state/zombie-mode on Saturday. Took a nap in the afternoon and was quite a bit better after that, and perfectly fine on Sunday.

That was the first thing I saw in the reveal article a month or so ago. I love that line through the tire.

I actually just finished up the campaign a week or two ago. Pretty good, but kindof a shame some of the gameplay elements only lasted one chapter. Like the timeshift thing came and went within about 20 minutes of gameplay and I was really enjoying it. Really good game though, if short.

Interesting opinion about Andromeda as I’ve been considering playing it since it’s on EA Play (so I can get it as part of Gamepass). Maybe I should play it. I’ve avoided it because of the massive hate it gets.
