I don’t know if this counts as a “road trip” but about 15 years ago I helped a friend move from PA to Florida so he drove the U-Haul while I followed in his car. Somewhere around North Carolina we started having issues with the truck where it would lurch and the transmission started dying and we slowly lost gear after

I was just really tired the day after my second dose (of Pfizer). Got it on Friday and felt like I was walking around in a dream state/zombie-mode on Saturday. Took a nap in the afternoon and was quite a bit better after that, and perfectly fine on Sunday.

I’m well into my 3rd year of a ThinQ and the phone is still going strong. Shame as I always liked LG phones.

Not used to seeing a blue sky on Mars (apparently sunsets are blue-ish)

That was the first thing I saw in the reveal article a month or so ago. I love that line through the tire.

I’m just going to plug Dude, Where’s My Car. I only saw it because whatever we went to see at the theater that day was sold out, but man that movie is awesome and it quickly became one of my favorite quotable movies. I know many people dismiss it because it’s Ashton and the title itself, but it’s a pretty great comedy

I actually just finished up the campaign a week or two ago. Pretty good, but kindof a shame some of the gameplay elements only lasted one chapter. Like the timeshift thing came and went within about 20 minutes of gameplay and I was really enjoying it. Really good game though, if short.

Interesting opinion about Andromeda as I’ve been considering playing it since it’s on EA Play (so I can get it as part of Gamepass). Maybe I should play it. I’ve avoided it because of the massive hate it gets.

Bulletstorm (2011). It was funny, fun, over the top and the gameplay mechanic of getting higher scores for more imaginative skills was unique and added an entirely new level of thinking of how best to dispatch enemies. That “skillshot” system then played into upgrades, so there was an incentive to get creative with

Well, I like the thinner overall phone because once I put a case on it, the camera bump is then either even with the case or indented a bit. If the entire phone was thicker, the case would then make it even thicker.

But yeah, I wouldn’t mind too much if they made the whole phone a little thicker and gave a bigger

To be fair, it’s not every 17 years. This brood (Brood X) come out every 17 years, but there’s 12 broods of the 17-year cicadas, and another 3 broods that are on a 13-year cycle. They are all in different parts of the country though so the brood in your area might only be every 17 (or 13) years. So nationwide you get

I love going out for a hike in the woods when they emerge. They’re so loud and are literally everywhere and coating everything. It’s cool, creepy and fascinating. Love it.

Not knowing much about the canal, I’m surprised it’s just lined with soil and sand as it seems like a ship running aground like this is a totally foreseeable eventuality (especially with ships getting larger and I believe it was the wind that blew this one sideways)

I wonder if they’ll put in a system of bumpers (is

Just take a look at the ears and the way the hair falls if you need any evidence that the photo of “Darla” is computer generated.

Works fine for me. Instead of right-clicking it just comes up with a magnifying glass.

I believe that was the old Edge (now known as Edge Legacy). The new one is based on Chromium.

Man, I don’t want Tesla having video of me stored somewhere, but the idea that they’d use the video to prove I wasn’t being a responsible driver is the same reason I have a dashcam: to prove that whoever rear-ended me or brake-checked me or merged into me wasn’t being a responsible driver. Or on the flip side to

I’m good with it. It’s approximately $50 cheaper than my wife and I going to the movies, buying two tickets, travel, parking, snacks and a babysitter. Even without the rest, just the two tickets would run me ~$30 and I’d still have to travel there and deal with the usual crowd: Mr. Cellophane-Wrapped Snack Eater, Mrs.

I live just outside of Hershey so it’s everywhere and can’t say I’ve ever noticed the sour taste or aftertaste. I really hope you didn’t ruin Hershey’s chocolate for me, which while I realize is not the best chocolate around, I’ve still always enjoyed it.

Unpopular opinion but I still enjoy The Simpsons. It’s not as good as it used to be (although I’m nearly 50 now and not in my 20's but it still has its moments and I still enjoy the characters and the Springfield “universe” that’s there. Watching it is like revisiting old friends and I enjoy my time with them. When it
