Makes me think a Ready Player One-type game (hopping between videogames and movies and books) would be intriguing. The licensing would be insane though.

You think at one point they could have pulled the camera back 10-20 feet to show you what the finished product looks like if you’re not 12 inches from it.

And then liberals boycotted Goya because they don’t think the office of the POTUS should be peddling for a company, and in response conservatives bought up a ton of Goya products to own the libs. Eating shitty food to own the libs.

I keep hoping the characters and show will grow on me but I think I’ll probably just give it up. I know it’s hard to not compare to Simpsons or Futurama (the latter took a bit to grow on me as well) so I’ve been trying me best to give it some time to get its legs, but doesn’t sound like it is.

and then add your primary Google account as a member of the household (so you can control the smart display from afar).

I had already decided to wait for the Series X version next year (or maybe the PS5 if I can get one by then). Hopefully by then it’s been patched/fixed/upgraded a bit. If not, I’m not sure if I’ll buy it or not. Maybe pick it up for cheap someday.

She had two kids too that she’ll never see grow up. I like to think maybe she had a moment of clarity or self-reflection as she lay choking on her own blood from the bullet in her neck while draped in a Trump flag, but I doubt it. What a waste, and her Twitter feed really speaks to how far gone she was down the

Good point about the glass. My super soldier with years of combat experience can’t break down a door or break glass unless it’s a very specific instance. Or can’t move a chair or dresser blocking a door. I know at a certain point you have to have some limits but I would just think there’d be a better way (somehow...I

I’d like to see more developer focus on refinement of the tech and game ideas. Some examples:

More advanced AI routines (where they still basically run at you or use predictable patterns or “forget” about you a few seconds after losing site of you).

Less bullet/sword/punch sponges with just a healthbar that you have

TLOU was one of my favorite games, and I managed to avoid hearing anything about TLOU2 (didn’t watch trailers, didn’t read reviews, etc). The only thing I knew about it going in was that there was some trans controversy around it. I ended up absolutely loving the game. Graphics were good, gameplay was good, I was

So the headline could just read “The World Will Be Nearly 6 Degrees Hotter”

What do you mean by backwards? Like it thinks you’re facing the wrong way? I believe that’s just a function of GPS. It triangulates your position, so it doesn’t know which way you’re actually facing. The reason it corrects itself when you’re driving is because it takes where you were at the last time it triangulated

I’ve decided to just wait until the enhanced for Series X version comes out sometime next year. Initial reviews seem to be it’s a bit buggy (at least the PC version, so guessing the console versions are not much better). And nothing I’ve read screams that I just must absolutely play it on day 1 or I’ll be missing out

Just hook it to my veins. I wish I could get on a waiting list for when it’s available to the “normal” public (I’m 48, my wife is 33, I have a 19 year old and 3 year old). Sounds like we’ll be waiting until May/June/July before my family can get one. I was hoping I’d have it in time so we could do a Memorial Day

They probably weren’t taking into account the utter incompetence, and arguably actively trying to make it as worse as possible that has occurred.

Same. I get to play games maybe 5-10 hours a week. I don’t want to play through once then again. Rather just play the “best” version which is why I kindof want to wait, but don’t want to wait 12 months if it’s not going to come out for year. I can certainly wait until March though.

I don’t have the time to play it now and then play it again after the upgrade. I’d rather just play it once.

Wish we had an actual (tentative) release date for the Series X version of Cyberpunk 2077. I’m undecided whether to just buy it this month or wait for the X version, but it could be 1 months or 12 months away and not sure I want to wait for Christmas ‘21 for it.

I’m intrigued. I’ve only seen Control in passing as my son played through it, and the environment looked a little blah to me (a big old office building where every room looked the same...but of course as I said I only saw a bit here and there in passing and after hearing all the rave reviews, I need to check it out

Anyone know if The Expanse will be released binge-mode or weekly?
