This seems like a ploy to get some cheap classic Legos from fools trying to offload them.

One thing the article fails to mention with Fi is that you only pay what you use. Yes, you pay $10/GB but if you only use 1.5GB, you only pay $15. If you use 1.75GB, you’re paying $17.50. If you use 1GB, 3MB, you’re paying $10.03.
If (like me) I had a month where I was on wifi nearly all the time (Yeah I was laid up…
In addition to the other comments, you’re only looking at the tax cut. Yay...you pay slightly less INCOME taxes for a couple of years, but more for insurance because they’re sabotaging that and you get less deductions and they have a 1.5 trillion deficit to make up for, that nearly everyone thinks is going to come…
I feel you. I even once “lost” my kid at a freaking Gymboree, which is pretty much impossible, but it was still 20 or 30 seconds of panic (which seemed like 5 minutes) until I found him hiding in a different set of playground equipment than he was in 2 seconds before disappearing. Amazing how fast they can get away.
Normally that’s against your lease terms to sublet. I know my apartment complex won’t let me sublet or use it as an airbnb. If you get caught, you face eviction...obviously depending on how strict they are about it. I’d love to offer my spare bedroom but don’t want to risk losing the place.
Safe for your valuables and check ratings of the guests. Anyone “messing” or “stealing” will quickly have a low rating and bad reviews from other renters. You can also choose to turn away people who are new to the site and only take people who have a few reviews (that happened to me when I first started using it....)
This sounds interesting. I recently got divorced after 18 years and all of “my friends” were “our friends”....which she kept. So I find myself pretty friendless the last 2 years. Tried meetup which was okay but hasn’t worked out well in forming those long-lasting friendships with anyone (the ones where you can call…
I drive and the number of people leaving stuff in my car seems to be insane (3 to 4 times a month). I check after each trip by looking over my shoulder the best I can but many times the phone or whatever is under the seat or otherwise hidden (even had one person leave their phone up behind the rear window). I only get…
Not sure why they didn’t link the apps, but here it is on the Play Store (assuming it’s available for your device and region):
Hey, I remember her from such films as Barbarella and Baywatch and I’m sure something else! Girl needs a bra at 47....
Been using Google Play Music since it came out, so I’m still at the introductory $7.99/month for it. The ability to upload my own music (local bands, etc) that you can’t find on services is a godsend. Plus YouTube Red...I forget YouTube even has ads until I hear someone complaining about it. A couple complaints about…
My old LG G3 (and I assume the new LG models) had this awesome thing where you held up your hand, made a fist and then it would start a 3 second timer to take it. I miss it (I should probably see if there’s a camera app available). Now I have a Nexus 6P and I just do the “OK Google, take a picture” thing (which also…
Only if they all vote along party lines. So yes?
I hope not. 6 years to come up with something better (or make actual improvements). The only “improvement” I see is the increased contributions to the HSA for people who may need it.
Ugh. One thing the linked chart isn’t clear on is the 30% increase on the Individual…
I’ve done that before (did it right after the couch-to-5k program) and it worked well. I’m actually meaning to do it again starting on Monday since I probably can’t even do 10 pushups now. I’m weak.
Doesn’t this apply to basically any device you might be logged into an account on? SmartTV, Roku, Blu-ray players with apps, your phone, a laptop, computer, etc....
Why is the article limiting this to Roku?
Been in since the beginning, so only paying $7.99/month for this. Love it. Also the ability to upload (I think it’s now) 50k tracks is awesome. I have tons of local/unknown bands that aren’t typically found on streaming services and being able to have them as well is great.
You can reserve movies online for Redbox and then just go pick them up. No need to browse at the box. That being said, I still use Netflix discs (in conjunction with streaming). It works out pretty decent for me.
He is just catering to the “grrr...them filthy mexicans are taking our jobs” crowd that got him elected. I’m sure I will see this plastered all over Facebook today with “Go get ‘em Trump! Make us great again” posts.
Yes, when I was learning to drive in the snow-belt of Erie PA (pre-ABS) they’d teach you to “pump” the brakes to mimic what ABS does, albeit a lot slower than what ABS does now (which basically pumps the brakes faster than you can manually). At least I believe this is the intent and I’m sure, being the internet,…
But Google wouldn’t because they’re not Apple. If that was the case, they’d have already removed it from the Play Store when Apple wouldn’t approve their original app, forcing them to make it part of Drive.
