this was a nice little show that never got the love/attention it deserved. i’m glad she’ll be back, she was the heart of the story.

Mumford & Sons’ banjoist Winston Marshall

If telling Ben Shapiro “I can’t hear you down there” is wrong, I don’t want to be mature.

Given that three of it’s cast won an Emmy for their performances, I think it’s safe to say it paid off.

Schmidt fucked the captain's daughter! Schmidt fucked the captain's daughter!

The scene where Jenko figured out Schmidt slept with the Captain’s daughter is some of Channing Tatum’s best acting.

Yeah I don’t think she understands the whole ‘acting’ thing.

She was hired to play a younger version of that character so they made her look like a younger version of that character and now she is complaining that she looked like a younger version of that character.

Of all the L&O’s, Criminal Intent is the only one I really miss. It was basically just a traditional 70's style whodunnit? in the mold of Columbo, McCloud, Barnaby Jones, etc. - which is why I loved it. Like most fans, I found the episodes without Goren and Eames less entertaining, though even those were still pretty

That comment made me wonder if AV Club understands how “acting” works.

“Fine, I’ll do it myself. But I’ll get Mexico to pay for it.”

All it takes is a half of a woman’s thigh to get your ass out of bed. What am I, a fucking idiot? If I had an ounce of self-respect I would cut your dick off.”

No one can top John Goodman as Tripp.

Maybe you’re right and I do remember Remote Control and they did marathon it, but it wasn’t all the time. I just remember Real World be taken to an even bigger extreme in their marathon runs of it. It seemed like almost every weekend they’d replay the entire season.

If you were ever mad about MTV for showing fewer and fewer music videos, you could start with this show. This isn’t their first non-music show but the first one they started to “marathon” and spend almost an entire day(or even all weekend) showing repeats of. I’m sure some people loved this show and I am not judging

This is great news for right-wing media segment producers looking to pad out a lean schedule.

Two of the three books in that header image are still available. Everyone can calm the fuck down and stop acting like they were about to buy any of the six books.

I don’t doubt that this happens/is happening, it’s the way it’s centered that seems off to me. This is thinking off a really good Noel Murray article about John Hughes movie soundtracks and specifically Pretty In Pink — Noel makes the argument that Hughes helped create the teen experience of music that he depicts in

The Texas line is certainly an odd drive by, considering it has nothing to do with the film itself.

I don’t know who likes it, to each their own I guess, but I find the barfly thing one of the worst recurring bits on modern SNL and I groaned audibly the minute I realized what was about to go down. I guess Kate likes it and she has enough seniority to push for it?... but Jesus, let’s do anything else.
