Yes. I am in my second trimester and desperate to find foods that don’t give me heartburn. I am hungry ALL the time but EVERYTHING gives me heartburn!

Never trust a company that claims to be “for women” yet only offers products that fit a minority of women (see: most clothing and lingerie companies “disrupting” my facebook feed). 68% of women wear a size 14 or above, so if you don’t want to clothe most of us, that’s a good sign that you’re not actually for us.

I’m in the size range that is rarely offered by startup clothing and lingerie companies advertising on my FB feed. And you’re right, they all have these ads about how they are size inclusive or how they are great for all women, and INEVITABLY I go to their website to see that they don’t do plus sizes, let alone tall

I think you’ve pointed out an important distinction - it’s makes a big difference when the big boss is also a woman.

To add to your list: the Great Mills High School shooter in MD killed Jaelynn Willey, 16 after their relationship ended. He also shot and injured another child (Desmond Barnes, 14) before he killed himself. Some headlines described him as “lovesick” instead of more accurate words like “abusive” or “hateful.”

My husband and I used to get takeout from a Noodles & Company near our house at least once a week. My favorite dish was a pasta with chicken and olives. However, since I’ve become pregnant my body has decided it won’t tolerate most meats. I don’t know why, I have always loved meat but right now it’s the most

If you’re eating at a nice restaurant, that’s possible.  If you’re eating at a chain in middle-America, that’s not always a thing.

My ancestor invented the pinking shears, and my family held the patent for them till sometime in middle of the last century. But maybe that patent was allowable because it was such a revolutionary change from previous scissor design, though?

Congratulations!!!!

Thanks!  I knew Old Navy and J Jill had a few plus size stores, but unfortunately the closest ones to me are on the other side of my state.  But I didn’t realize Loft had also started to carry plus sizes some of their stores, there’s one just an hour from me so I’ll check it out.

3 decades later, and I’m still cranky that my troop leader embezzled our cookie money (not sure what she spent it on, but I know I didn’t get to go camping).

Thanks for sharing, that article points out some really important considerations.

Wearing my Ava actually helped my sleep schedule a little bit, because each evening when I charged and synced it, I looked at the sleep chart. I could see I was not getting enough sleep over time, which I know made me less likely to conceive. So it was a good motivator to get myself to bed!

Congratulations!!

Yup! I think reactions to this go two ways:

You make a good point! But I also had to smile because it IS a big deal for those of us who are ADD and can’t keep track of anything in our personal life because it takes all of our concentration to stay employed :)

Just at night!  The hassle for me is remembering to charge it and sync it each day so it’s ready to put on at bedtime.

Before I moved to my current job, I would have been incredulous like you. But I now work in an old streetcar suburb right outside a city. It’s pretty poor, mostly working-class folks and retirees. The chains here do not care about investing in the community or keeping their facilities clean and in good working order.

Sounds like the question you should be asking is, why didn’t she marry a man who could do some housework?
