This!

Just want to proudly share a story! I was in the oddball sorority, the one with science majors and lesbians and theater girls and such (unlike the other sororities on campus, we didn’t haze, so we weren’t considered hard-core enough for the social climbers). One of the girls enjoyed talking about gross stuff - poop

Yeah, I really believe that we need to companies to change their culture in order to make a dent in this. So I’m heartened that Total Wine and the others are speaking out and making the case for hiring returning citizens!

Wow, those are great posters! Yes, you should put a note below. I myself would probably put something about how folks who are shaken about his death can honor his memory by learning more about racism and how to fight it.

Yes, I am a lifelong resident of the DC area and used to seeing all the various cops around - park police, capitol police, city police, secret service, etc. But from what I’ve seen, starting with W’s first, during inaugurations they supplement with cops from out of town (I think federal law enforcement officers from

I work in an old building with window a/c units. Even at full blast, in the summer my office never gets below about 78 degrees. So I know something about sweat and undercarriages. I once had a very funny and candid conversation with my two female officemates, as we discussed our strategies for dressing

I know it doesn’t look like Ben Affleck is super spread out in the picture, so you wouldn’t think it’s manspreading at first glance. But look at JLo’s posture next to him, she’s having to take up much less room and kind of sit forward and perch on her seat (if she sat all the way back in the seat, it would be

Yay teachers!

Okay, I broke out laughing at the sexy ankle line. I’ll see you over at Jalopnik sometime.

We had those too, and I HATED them! They were certainly distracting to me as a girl just learning about women’s place in the world - caused a lot of anger and sadness. But I guess those are not as bad as a boy getting turned on

“There are SO MANY more things girls can do to turn on boys than boys can do to turn on girls which makes these mandates appear to be so one-sided and sexist.”

“There is actually NO mileage between turtleneck and cleavage on my body. Literally none.”

Oh goodness yes, I’m tall too so I feel the pain of stupid questions!!!

I was lucky because I was a teen in the late 80's and early 90's, when shorts down to your knees was a style, and therefore pretty easy to find in stores.

Yes, I will agree with you on that. I think kids should know that they’re going to lose respect from some adults if they are in a professional setting and intentionally showing inches of their boxer-clad butt popping out above their skinny jeans, or if they are wearing a top that is designed to show their bra off.

Enh. I do like it when I find tanks or dresses that have those bra strap keeps, but I think I was like 25 before I knew that was thing. And I have used safety pins on button up shirts where it’s easy to line the two flaps up. But I can’t imagine spending time every morning trying to pin my straps to my tshirt in the

I have no idea how us white people using the n-word can somehow take away the power of it.

I really get the desire to feel accepted. I live and work in a majority-minority place where most successful folks are black. I have been flattered when someone indicated I was “down” in some way, or invited me into a black space. But I know that I will NEVER be an “honorary member” by trying to act like something
