Hmm that’s a thought! I’m just typecasting based on his current role, but he seems a little too cutesy to be Charles Wallace, who I remember as an awkward character. Jack definitely seems to be a great actor for his age though, so I’d love to see him pull of the oddball vibe.

Seconded!

Yeah, I do the same with coconut oil. Added bonus: the nice smell makes me think of suntanning on a beach, which cheers me up in gray winters.

Yes, this is definitely the assumption. I am a middle-class plus-size woman who frequently attends conferences and charity galas for both work and personal reasons. But I have the hardest time finding appropriate professional and formal clothes in person (I hate ordering online, I need to try stuff on). Thank

As a white woman with fine, stick-straight hair, I would greatly applaud this move.

Are they raising prices on the straight sizes though? I didn’t see anything that said that. In the linked Wall Street Journal article, it actually gave an example where Walmart lowered the price on both the plus size and straight size item to make them the same low price.

Okay, the extra fabric I understand. But I don’t understand why you don’t need to cut or sew as many. There are now as many plus size women in the US as there are straight size women. So why would you need to make fewer plus size items? Just wondering if I’m missing some info here.

Yes to this.

YES

Sigh... very cute, but there’s no sense spending even a buck on undies that are too small for my gorgeous booty. Kudos to Aerie for going up to size 18 though - just wish they went even further.

Wow, good for you for being stubborn!!! You did the right thing.

I have posted regularly for several years and am still in the grays. I don’t know how it works but don’t feel bad, you are not alone.

Oh man, I’m sorry - that sounds so tough!!! Some of the most amazing people I know have struggled with mental illness -the mind is a wild thing. I am glad you have a supportive husband and a doctor who is helpful. Hugs to you.

I would have clapped had I been standing there! Brava!!!

Ah ha ha ha! Yes, I have been neglecting my poor boyfriend since this was posted, forgetting to water the plants, almost missed a deadline at work. Reading this thread each year really is one of the best holiday traditions ever.

SO CREEPY!!!!!

I AM NOW THOROUGHLY SCARED

Eeeeck!!! The girl was still there after 15 minutes! That sent shivers down my spine

Bravo!!! Excellent story

I am pretty sure the mystery chute was a laundry chute. Everything else in your story, however, scares me very much!
