Florida girl here, so I hear you on the sweltering. I just don’t reapply unless I’m...going out at night and had applied in the morning. :) Mostly my mom, who is also a sunscreen junkie, told me once that sometimes you need a darker summer shade. I don’t think my face skin actually gets much darker. I am also turning

Seriously, I had someone at Sephora do a mini makeover whatever to help me find a concealer and the lighting was so bad I had no idea if it was good or not. I bought the concealer and I don’t even like it that much. :/

WHY DO THEY ALWAYS WANT TO STYLE IT STRAIGHT? It’s actually offensive to me as a wavy/curly haired person that they assume I want it straight. I also don’t understand cutting it wet but they all do it. I’m sure if I put in the effort and $$ I could find a curly person.

...what a silly premise for a song, too. I don’t know. I definitely think she could’ve picked a better single.

Urban planner? Hi!

I thought this was supposed to be an elementary schooler’s Twitter (I don’t know what kids these days do!) and I was pretty confused about why that elementary schooler looked like a young adult. Oops.

The only change I’ve ever made in the summer is a slightly darker shade of foundation! If I ever get my face to stop breaking out maybe I should consider different products.

Swearing four hours a week for your skin? I’m in. :)

That naturluxe or whatever burned my skin! Not like visible burns, but it made my skin feel burny. My mom liked it a lot though.

American Eagle fan here! I don’t do their beachy crop toppy whatever, but I’ve done pretty well with their denim recently. I also have a pair of khakis and a pair of navy pants from them that I like (“trousers” or whatever; business casual!).

I would guess college students/those in their early 20s. They would at least TRY the products if they were in store to buy clothes, I think.

Okay, yes, I am probably using a teaspoon or more just for my legs. Will try again.

Is the file the same grain on both sides?

So while I agree that the original posting was a bit...abrasive...I do think that a lot of people don’t realize how cosmetics are still tested on animals. I personally thought until recently that that was an old practice that most people were pretty opposed to so it was uncommon. I was wrong.

They are also vegan! Wet and Wild has a lot of vegan options but does use caramine in some stuff (full list on their website). NYX is another cheapish option for cruelty free sometimes vegan, and I think Physician’s Formula is also cruelty free sometimes vegan.

How do you “glop a bunch” on your body? Because I’ve tried coconut and almond oil for all over moisture and it does not sink in. I can leave it on for hours and it won’t absorb and I end up having to wipe it off somehow. Am I using too much?

Awesome! Also good to know that “they breeze through airport security.” I didn’t know that people were selling faux ones so I’m glad to have a legit recommendation.

I guess, as someone who doesn’t get regular manicures and who doesn’t live in a big city, they have always seemed expensive to me. I think I usually see prices of $15-20 for just a normal paint your nails situation (not acrylics, not nail art, etc.). I’ve had...three professional manicures in my life (one at a beauty

Where do you go to buy glass nail files? I have looked EVERYWHERE, including Sally Hansen Beauty Supply, Ulta, and I think Sephora. I doubt I want to pay Sephora mark up on them if even I’m wrong on that one though.

Your cuticles help prevent infection. They protect the nail from bacteria and whatnot.
