I’m really not sure how they can get stuck on things/be pulled out horrifically, but I’ve never had one. I personally am uncomfortable with them because there may be an increased risk of blood clots from the way the hormones are delivered. Sigh.

Have you tried the female condom? I have not yet but a friend of mine greatly prefers it.

What do you mean? They can be outside your body for a certain number of hours and it’s totally fine. If they fall out during sex you are still protected.

The insertion is the main reason I’m not going for one. If they could give me some legitimate anesthetic, I’d probably sign up tomorrow. When I go for my usual gyno appointments, they have to use the smallest speculum, so I can just imagine how badly the IUD thing would go for me.

Good! Finding a good gyno is such a challenge. I still go to a student health center and I do like the person I’ve seen, but I also had some bad experiences.

No one tells you that the pill can fuck up sex. NO ONE. And then when you tell gynos that sex always hurts they tell you to use lube or breathe or explain how to push on a certain muscle to relax the rest, which is altogether fine advice but when you’ve got a patient who has been on the pill for years you think you’d

I think it’s like going on the pill where you have to give it three months to let your hormones settle. But if the pill was working for you, you do you.

I just stopped the pill and have started investigating condoms so we can find ones that work best for us. I didn’t really like them back when we used to use them but this time I’m all up on those size charts, opportunities to order single condoms, and proper lube. It makes me a bit nervous, but I’m going to have EC on

This is exactly why I just stopped the pill a couple weeks ago after at least five years of trying various ones. Over it. I’ve had painful intercourse since I started having sex and would like to know what it’s like to...not. Also I would like to see if maybe I cry less for mostly no reason.

#teamtweezers! Waxing is terrifying to me.

...did you dance in this studio?

I don't really know where they get the milk part (I didn't see a milk product in the ingredients but it is kind of milky) but it's their version of a cold cream (like Olay, Cetaphil, etc. have). You don't have to use water with it, but I put a small bit of water on my face and then a bit of cleanser, then rubbed it

Yeah, it was kind of tough when I went in. I think Urban Decay, NARS, Tarte, and Too Faced are all cruelty free but not always vegan. I might have to try the KMF even though it seems pricey for sunscreen. I think we just bought Alba shampoo/conditioner actually (my bf and I just share). I haven't heard of EO but I'll

I'm one of those people, too. I also have sensitive skin, so a lot of sunscreens are hell on my face. I've read that Kiss My Face works well for some people (and is cruelty free/vegan) but it's a bit pricey. I don't think Sephora brand products are cruelty free.

Yeah! I'm currently using the travel sizes of the normal face cleanser and the ultra repair creme intense hydration. It seems to be working well on my face but it feels a bit weird. I might try the face cream you mentioned. I also had a small sample of the milk oil cleanser and may have liked it better than the

Eco Tools? Because those are my jam. Buying a concealer brush changed my life.

My bf's mom.

I'm pretty sure I'd send that text, too.

Kid in middle school called me a butterface (possibly as a complete joke to explain the "clever" word). Obviously I look very significantly different now but I still wonder sometimes.

I think your response is also valid. Even sans pregnancy hormones I can understand how not being met with excitement might be very upsetting.
