Did anyone else see the article that claimed the UK was banning female orgasms in porn (it was from the Daily Dot or something that goes around Facebook)? Something about "If you want to see a woman orgasm in British porn, you can't now!" I think this select banning is ridiculous, but it concerns me that apparently

It was my understanding that in porn, it often IS urine because ejaculation is not something that the majority of women do. This doesn't necessarily mean it should be banned but that might be part of the logic. And yeah, a lot of people wrongly think it's pee.

Hahah oops.

I've never seen a cheese brand label itself as vegetarian friendly in the United States. I'm also not buying NICE cheese, I'm buying store brands, so maybe that's the difference here.

I didn't know that! Thanks! I just know (or was told and hope it's not wrong) that Publix doesn't use rennet so I just get their brand all the time for all cheese.

Parmesan cheese is the same (which you likely know). This is especially frustrating as a vegetarian because REAL Parmesan is supposed to be made with rennet (stomach enzyme) instead of bacterial enzymes, but often it just says "enzymes". Even though you know Parmesan is supposed to have rennet, there are things

I mean, I think if I kept doing the exercises they would help things. I just got lazy. But he wanted to see me like once a week, and at $40/appointment that was getting out of hand. It's not a bad idea to get things checked out and hopefully they can just give you exercises and tell you to foam roll and off you go.

You didn't know that rapists disappear after the crime? That's why no still see-able person could possibly be a rapist and the accuser is always lying.

The beanie said "Woodrat", not "Hoodrat". I don't know if this is meant to be "White Hoodrat", a dedication to the animal that they may have had in their home in Mazomanie, Wisconsin, or a brand.

I have not great skin (currently have a huge cystic pimple on my chin and like you, my skin tends towards dry not oily) and I'm 24. The chances are pretty high that my problems are from my birth control, but I just read that if you continue to have this kind of acne past 25 it is often a sign of Polycystic Ovarian

Are you in the US? If so, can you explain this: "...i had to quit my grad program b/c the taxes on it were insane (it's a benefit, taxed as such)"? I am in a grad program with funding and I don't understand the taxes part at all.

Also, keep your head up! It sounds like you're looking for new opportunities and I'm

I've been having hip pains and it's sidelined me for months now (I'm a triathlete). I went to the sports doctor but the copay was high so I stopped going. I also have lapsed on the exercises he gave me. I want to run again, too, so I feel you. :(

Wait what please give me recommendations, too! Especially vegetarian ones if possible.

So sorry about your health concerns. I am in my mid-twenties but I have tried to get healthcare outside of routine check ups for some things and it's absolutely no fun. Routine checkups are already no fun, but the extras are more

If the seminar is always led by those individuals, don't do a thing. If you really do have a few questions or would like to discuss it, set up an appointment with the professor in question and go chat. Otherwise, I think you are totally fine if you have been generally participating. She might not even remember.

Yeah, my department is more like kiisseli's. I think they even have a (maybe unwritten) open-door policy. It wouldn't be weird for a student to drop in on a professor at all. I doubt I would be pursuing my PhD here if the culture were like you describe (but I definitely recognize that some fields are simply more

My dad was (is?) an alcoholic and my friend just went through hell with her former fiance.

I HATE THIS SHIT. I hate when people make weird comments about "Oh she's so pretty, daddy's going to have his hands full in a few years!" about babies and little girls. I didn't know it was also happening to little boys. I think all things with children in "relationships"/holding hands/kissing/whatever in cutesy

As a cyclist who is new to clipless pedals, this sounds especially terrifying as you're clipped in and going up a hill and ugh. WHY.

Who is to say, had he not engaged with them, that it wouldn't have ended badly anyway? They had to pass by them multiple times due to the wallet thing, and that could've been enough for someone with oddly violent tendencies to attack.

But those of us who like bland food (or can't eat certain strongly flavored foods because they have weird tongue problems) need to know!
