It’s a problem when women are not receiving equal pay for equal work. Likewise, it’s a problem when women are being denied access to higher paying positions on the basis of sex, either intentionally or unintentionally/negligently due to stronger intra-office relationships between male superiors and their subordinates…

Obviously it’s because Rockstar North are a bunch of misogynistic assholes. Not because women are just now getting into those fields that have been dominated by males for decades. Take it easy, Francis.

So I don’t want to suggest that there is no sexism going on here, but the games industry has been historically overwhelmingly male, and is becoming less so. That means proportionately more women in entry level jobs.
