The problem with that, though, is that their actual job is to entertain us with every episode, not bore us to tears and tell us we need to just stay tuned for the payoff.

I think Merlyn probably would sign on first, just because it might offer him a small bit of protection from Ra's.

I am not sure I agree with what you've posted, but your final sentence is awfully convincing.

The entire middle of Season 2 was a huge meandering mess. They had no idea what they were going to do with most of the characters until half of the season was already over, and it showed.

Caity Lotz wasn't thrust into the forefront of half of the scenes in each episode, either.

Yeah, which is why my interest is waning. The show was hitting its stride with Oliver working with Digg and Felicity, and I was really hoping they were actually going to do what Oliver said at the end of last season and get back to that. It's really disappointing to see them wasting David Ramsey (and EBR) the way they

I thought maybe the person meant the character signing on for a spinoff. If that were the case, I want Deadshot first and foremost. The actor did a whole lot with a guest part.

I think it's more that the actress is one dimensional, so they have to play to her "strength" and write her angry all the time.

    Wells from The Flash

I just want to see Quentin in more scenes that don't revolve around Laurel.

    Deadshot

What I would have loved more than anything was for Sara to choose to go back to the League (because once you let the darkness in blah blah blah) - Lazarus Pit or no - and they could have had Laurel's (very slow) "journey" to being a hero contrast with that. We could have gotten some awesome Oliver vs Sara scenes out

Three times - she fake-bit it on the Amazo, too.

It's already become the Ollie and Laurel show this season. That's the problem.

I don't think Sara's reaction to seeing Thea on the rooftop, holding a bow & arrow, would have been quite as casual as it was. It seemed like someone she knew well whom she accepted in the role of a weapons-toting individual she'd meet on a roof.

Nobody is being written in-character, and most of it it seems to be so they can try to fix Laurel. Again.

I honestly feel like this show is letting out some kind of dog whistle that everyone is responding to and I am too deaf to hear it. The writing has tanked this season; the plot holes are big enough to drive three Mack trucks through side by side, yet everyone is praising the writing and saying the show is the best

I legitimately forgot about Yao Fei (because I was bored to tears by most of the island flashbacks and once I watched them live, I hardly ever rewatched them). Thank you for bringing him up, and also Tommy and Sebastian.

    Felicity - mid 20s, Oliver - late 20s

I read it wrong then - sorry to assume. (Kneejerk reaction - been poking around at various sites and see people put down the character & declare anyone who likes her a shipper-headed ninny fangirl, which is doubly annoying because I know plenty of people who ship it without being ninnies and/or also without being
