Yeah, you can do a hell of a lot worse than “kinda boring”.

Tinder wishes “basic bro” was their worst type of user. Dating sites and apps are plagued with creeps.

you basic

I was expecting the first comment to be something to the effect of “Grew up in Katonah and went to Exeter =/= goth”

Ok can we talk about the fact that when it’s girls acting strangely or violent, teachers/law enforcement/everyone are quick to take action and prevent tragedies.

The spark joy thing is definitely not well understood. In her books it’s explained a lot better but also I think it’s going to mean something slightly different from person to person.

There’s one unintended, ironic effect of Marie Kondo’s show and it has nothing to do with getting rid of shit: I now understand why 70% of married women initiate divorces.

Lets look at how articles like this happen:

...wow.

Most crossbody straps are adjustable so I’d be surprised if hers isn’t. If it isn’t, you just knot the strap to get it at the right length.

Same here (at least as an adult, some family vacations as kids were less than restful). I’ve traveled a ton, and it’s all been positive. Of course, some of that is perspective. The more you travel, the more you realize that the layover or the canceled flight are mostly just matters of perspective. You can’t control

I need more than one hand to count the amount of times. I encourage everyone to reconsider moving to New York City.

Me too. The worst day abroad is still better than the best day home. and I have traveled internationally quite a bit and had some crazy ass things happen to me and I still prefer it to being home.

Same. Now have I had things go wrong or have had individual bad days over the course of a trip? Sure. But I’ve never had a trip where I didn’t come home with plenty of good things to talk about. And that includes the failed cruise my family tried to take when my mom left my and my dad’s passports behind* so we

I have . . . genuinely never had a bad time on vacation. Other than occasional small logistical problems, nothing bad has ever happened to me, and I’ve never been “disappointed.” And I have traveled a lot!

I mean, it’s true. Countless people approached her. You could not count them because there were none.

His presence on PBS has helped convince my very-smart-bleeding-heart-liberal-civil-servant mother than maybe he’s someone to be taken seriously and listened to, and she wants to get his new book. I don’t think he’ll be able to fool her for that many pages, though.
