I think thats just the John Williams effect. Dual of Fates is the most powerful and evocative song in all of Star Wars, including the original theme.
Zoom already shared the refutation of the battle below. Ill just link to his comment.

Because a prop master thought it looked cool?

As a Vermonter - Ewww.

My go-to sauce has been Kenji Lopez-Alt’s lovely slow cooked tomato sauce but it makes my condo too hot for frequent use. THIS may make me finally buy a pressure cooker to utilize instead. I have been holding off on a pressure cooker for years now because we have already own a slow cooker, a rice cooker, and a sous

Somebody reads Kenji.

I grew up in RI and Wyoming. My family background is half-Mass, half-Vermont. I lived outside Roanoke, VA (4 years of college), Charleston, SC (6 months intern), and on the FL-GA border (6 years) just north of Jacksonville, FL.
This VA restaurant was the only one not willing to make half-half for me so I had to do it

No joke. Ive ordered One glass of unsweetened tea, one glass of sweet tea, one empty glass before (in Virginia).

Given that 90% of Downeys superheroics consist of a tight crop of his face, Id say he can get away with another decade if he wanted it. The thing is, he doesnt and that’s his decision. 12 of his 91 acting jobs on IMDB are as Tony Stark. Hes given us more than I could have dreamed for as a kid who read Iron Man.

At least Shake Shack is on Five Guys level.
In N Out is just a hipsters McDonalds.

Alibi: I’ve only had Shake Shack in the Middle East where it was not busy and quite tasty, especially compared to the weird beef usually served.

::Sigh:: I guess if I get pedantic, you can be “technically correct”.

Regardless, I look forward to hearing those results.

Thanks. He was a good boy.

Well said but I’m not sure I agree with your conclusion. While the water would slow the rate of heat transfer because of the increased density of the water and that water would not go below freezing, the amount should be minimal as the glass would be cold within one minute anyway. This is a period where people are

Looks like they sell Half-Dome, Mt. Everest, Mt. Washington, Mt. Fuji, and Mt. Rainer but not Denali by themselves.
Which is a shame because I wanted to buy 2 Denalis to give to friends in Anchorage.

That sounds like a real life Doug the Dog. I love that dog already.

I recently visited friends. Husband works OT. Wife has (very) early onset rh. arthritis. They have a golden lab. When I visited, the poor dog not only chased his tail, but caught it.
I immediately volunteered to walk the dog. We were out for about an hour. He was velcro-ed to my side from that moment on. Walked him

Arent Italian Greyhounds notoriously lazy when not running? Or is that just Greyhounds?
I had friends who had two, but they were elderly by the time we met. Lovely dogs. Very affectionate.

As an owner of multiple Belgian Malinois over my lifetime - THANK YOU! (sends virtual hugs). Working dogs are wonderful but require a level of commitment that I couldn’t handle on my own and work full time. Takes both my wife and I in our case and we’re both “dog people”.

I can’t count how many families come up to me

Former bartender and nuclear engineer here. You are correct, sir. Ice does not cool the glass. Glass loses heat to the water and ice with greater efficiency than ice and air.

Water’s specific heat capacity is 4200 Jkg-1K-1 and Air’s is 993 Jkg-1K-1 therefore water has 4.23 times more specific heat capacity. Water has a density of 1000/m3 and air has a density of 1.275/m3 therefore water would be 784.31 x denser than air
