“Why is society always so frightened of people who think outside the box?”, Jame Gump, Fashion Iconoclast

I mean, it isn’t.

I stopped eating beef, chicken and poultry, and it’s weird reading articles like this.

So...pilot lights on headgear for every cow?

Just like the other day when he noted his recent discovery that Puerto Rico is an island (did you know this?!?) in a very large ocean (holy shit, the Atlantic ocean is large?!?). It’ll blow his fucking mind if he ever realizes there’s more than one ocean.

I’m glad you made it through ok. I never took the flu seriously until my husband caught it about five years ago. It knocked him in his ass, he ended up in the ER from dehydration even though he was already getting more fluid than normal.

Huntsman is what the GOP should be. Yes, he wants to lower taxes and liberals will disagree. That’s fine. But he supported the DREAM Act, supported same-sex marriage in 2013, is with the scientific community on evolution and climate change, etc. His only really terrible policies are about abortion (which is enough).

You can bet if Price was a Dem, Fox News would be running a daily chyron of the money he hasn’t re- paid, and keeping it in the news, all the way to the midterms if need be. The supposed liberal media, on the other hand, will probably just let this go.

The best part of that one to me is that his staff flew commercial. So Price and his wife flew on military planes at a half million dollar cost, but it was totally fine for his staff to fly commercial flights leaving and arriving at the same time.

thank-you for saying this. As a doctor when I hear someone say the flu shot “gave them the flu” I want to scream. I tell them that if you had the flu and were able to do more than lie in bed and cry for your momma then it was probably a cold. I constantly tell staff to never call anything “a flu” unless it’s proven,

“Jon Huntsman has been named the ambassador to Russia.”

I really love when Dotard Donald reads from the teleprompter. The words go directly from his eyes to his mouth, with only the punctuation to signal rising tones or emphasis. Occasionally, a phrase will spark some dim recognition, and he’ll break away from the teleprompter to trot out one of his four adjectives

I think people think “stomach virus” is kind of the same thing as the flu. If you puked - it’s the flu! And I thought that too until..I actually got the flu. LORDY. It’s the worst.

as bad as all those trespasses are, my biggest gripe with tom price is that he is essentially a mirror-world evil tim gunn, which should never be a thing.

Already have the N/R station. How many more portals to hell can Times Square take?

I thought Times Square itself was a portal to Hell.

Kneeling before the anthem and standing for the anthem reads as please-everybody posturing. It’s the same with the linking of arms. It was a bunch of theater thought up by an NFL marketing executive as an inoffensive way to look like you’re saying something without saying anything. It’s better to honestly and boringly

Okay, I’ll bite.

What you are missing is the connection to the original problem.

The thing is, protests are symbolic actions, designed to point to a specific issue. Thus, it’s not Kaep sitting or kneel just for the helluvit, but to shine a light on police brutality and systemic oppression of POC by the criminal justice

It probably would have made more sense for Jerry Jones to provide a statement to the media condoning the support of his organization for his players’ rights to demonstrate as a form of protest for injustice and commit funds to support initiatives within the community to help correct some of those injustices. Instead

Look, I understand that you are upset about black people being murdered, but can we discuss it in a way that removes the black people and the murder? That would make me much more comfortable.
