This shit is why I still slow down and I look most of the time that I have a green light. Yes you’re right, it’s your right of way, and the other guy is an asshole if they run the light, but being right doesn’t keep you from dealing with the consequences of several tons of metal slamming into you.

Exactly. This is exactly why I get so tired of seeing people cheer him. He can say whatever the fuck he wants but until he VOTES in a manner that backs that up, he will not have my trust or my cheers. (Other than getting healthy, I’ll cheer him on for that.)
When was the last time McCain stood for anything? He has said some reasonable stuff against the Republican agenda since Trump was elected, but then he just goes and votes for it anyway. He’s all talk. It’s sad because he talks like the only reasonable Republican with half a brain left, but he never actually opposes…
The problem is that they didn’t actually want to repeal it. They just wanted to stick it to the left. Unfortunately for them they’re now realizing that means doing something with policy consequences.
