Yeah, there’s definitely a part of the map where it rains more or less constantly as part of the main quest.  

They’re not releasing anything new. the new version of the nvidia chip has better battery life so newly built switches get better battery life. it’s not a new switch, they can’t build switches with the old chip anymore.

I don’t think that this particular refresh changes any plans for that, if there are any. Internal hardware refreshes are fairly common. It might even have a clocked down CPU to keep it in line with the previous model, just less heat and the longer battery life. I doubt they even really advertise this as a thing
