The orcs of D&D and the orcs of Tolkien aren’t the same. Tolkien’s orcs are racist too, but they represent Central Asians rather than Black people. Because Tolkien’s racist fears were different than Gygax’s.

That’s silly. It’s reviewed and sold very well in Japan. They’ve made multiple visual novels and strategy games. Just cause some of you only know them through a couple of action games doesn’t mean that’s all they do. Or that they were somehow trying to keep the gameplay secret.

That’s complete and utter bullshit of course. Anyone that’s spent any amount of time on the internet knows that gamers would have lost their minds if the devs had said the rest of the Pokemon would be coming as DLC a year after launch.

They didn’t “Take them out” though. Where on earth do you people get this absurd shit from ? They were never in the game. They were in previous games. But you can’t just snatch things from old games and put them into something new. That’s not how things work.

Most people, and especially most Nintendo players, don’t play a huge number of games. Yeah, games journalist dude, we get that you have a gigantic game library. But your average Nintendo user like, bought Mario a couple years ago, and a copy of Smash, and hasn’t played anything but Fortnite this year.

Instead, a larger explosion is caused at the behest of President Shinra in order to drive public opinion against the terrorist group. It’s a choice that softens AVALANCHE’s image in comparison to the original game.

My mom, who is 71 and hasn’t played a video game since Tetris for the Gameboy, saw me playing the goose game at Christmas and asked to try. She spent the entire evening playing the game. It’s good.
