And Miracle on 34th Street!!!

As we've talked about before, if you need to create a new habit, piggybacking on an old one is the best way to do it. If you already have a routine for brushing your teeth, tack on flossing (or, if that doesn't work, floss in the shower!). Be open to adjusting the order you do things in, but keep it as close to your

I think that Fiona was saying that she was taught those things, but not taught how to make them a daily habit.

This is exactly the problem I have. Being a remote employee when most of the company works in the same office can really make you feel like a second-class citizen—or even non-existent at times.

How I Cook would be amazing! That should totally be an ongoing series on Skillet!

Dennis the Menace Park!! I loved this place as a kid!

Also bad: doesn't sync Outlook tasks (unless I've missed something).

For me, having too many emails in the inbox stresses me out and makes it harder to concentrate. I also tend to lose track of emails more when my inbox isn't clean—there's a lot of "read" mail, but I'm not sure which ones I've already taken care of completely and which ones still need action. By moving the ones that

I typically pass on "how I work" articles but there was no way I was passing this one up.

Yep, this is how I've always handled it.

It means you can comment without being "in the grey" of "comment pending."

I'll have to check it out.

Ok, I have a problem. Lifehacker keeps telling me how awesome Sunrise is, so I keep trying it because the stock app is terrible. However, it seems like Sunrise has some sort of syncing issues, where some of my appointments don't show up, even though they're in a visible calendar! Am I the only one having this problem?

That's not the issue for me. My problem is that switching users now takes three times as long as it used to. I switch profiles all the time (work and personal), so having it be just two clicks in the corner makes my life easier.

I had the exact same reaction! At least we can be pretty sure Putin doesn't have a Chronoguard or the ability to travel into the BookWorld.

Now we just need an infographic that tells you which chains have Diet Dr. Pepper and which ones don't!

I've used two of these. One leaked all over the place constantly. The other one's lid wouldn't stay on properly.

It's not always so simple. In your initial post you say "Clearly [his spending habits] are out of sorts or this question would not be posed." As Wittyname and I pointed out, that's not necessarily true. Poor credit isn't always a result of poor choices—and even if it is, those poor choices may be long in the past.

Or he could have bad credit due to all of credit history. If you've never had a credit card/student loan/car payment/other credit account before, it can be really hard to get one in the first place!
