@LaComtesse: Agreed re: surrogacy. I also now can't imagine suggesting to anyone ever that they give a child up for adoption. Anyone who would go through this for a child she didn't desperately want is either a saint or a masochist.

@LaComtesse: I am right there with you at the moment. How can I be having cramps and nausea? My own tip: heating pad on low helps both. I don't know why it helps the nausea, but it totally does.

I am most shocked by the inclusion of JLo. The rest of the ladies were perhaps not wearing the most flattering dresses they could have worn (though certainly none looked "fat"), but I actually thought JLo's dress was super flattering. She looked amazing! Her waist looked so small and her curves looked great.

@Not-Shattered: It's the latter. It takes into account the 60% of rapes that go unreported.

@ctkat1: Yes, I worry that it will happen backstage rather than on stage.

Did anyone else just see the E news ticker that said Sofia Vergara is a natural blonde?

@Queenjulie: I believe that the statistic is 6%, but that factors in the estimate that 60% of victims don't report. It's still not a strong statistic, but in my own experience, I've seen plenty of adult rapists convicted of sexual assault in criminal court. I hate that any women would think rape convictions are nearly

@Not-Shattered: Yes, there must be a conviction before you can require someone to register as a sex offender. No, it is not rare at all for adult rapists who rape adults to be convicted. Not all rapes have sufficient evidence for prosecution, but the majority do. Where are you getting your information from?

@Never_Nude: Hearted for pointing out that most people who commit crimes aren't 100% awful monsters. They're much more often damaged people who did something bad than they are bad people.

@curiousdruid: Oh, thank you for your pity. It truly is exhausting being me. Like you, I'm 100% sure you'll have complete control over your reproduction and you'll have your baby at precisely the perfect time for you. Sadly, not all of us are quite so perfect as you and we have to suffer with some degree of

@curiousdruid: Take getting pregnant out of your comment and replace it with getting cancer. Then think about what a jerk you're being.

@RodetheTrolleywithStanwyck: For the record, I think it's perfectly acceptable to bring back a cupcake with one bite out of it, complain that it's too dry, and request a different cupcake.

@allthegossip: No. I also hate musicals where the actors come down the aisles.

How is a wedding in a mall "short on commercialism"?

I'm rather disappointed in the cunning of the feral cat community in Glen's area.

I feel for Lindsay. I scraped up the side of our brand new SUV (not $140k, but still) on our garage when we'd had it for like 3 weeks. Driving big cars isn't easy.

@Polhillian: "No win, no fee" arrangements, usually known as contingency arrangements, are the only ethical fee arrangements for this type of case. ANY medical malpractice lawyer would use this type of fee arrangement. How would poor people be able to sue for medical malpractice without a contingency fee arrangement?
