Eat it, Littlefinger!

The Wall just got wight washed.

Right. We’re supposed to take seriously someone who “voted 4 Trump would do it again”and is here insulting someone who pointed out mistreatment of a co-worker. 😂😂😂

The amount of condescension that would amount to would be obscene. I know you’re just being an asshole, but think about what you’re asking. The money isn’t what matters, it’s the recognition and appraisal of his work from his superiors, of which I am not.

Just another example of average/below average white men rising like healthy turds.

Darion,

Plenty of people skate by, myself included. Working hard enough to not be in trouble is a thing, and works very well IMO. I can’t speak to your company or situation, just my own, but I started 3 years ago, got a bonus and a raise, and would have expected the same for someone working harder than I was.

You could also show results of white privilege that happen further down the line:

Luck is not bad at all. It just seems to be the thing people ignore when recounting their path to success, whatever form that luck takes.

Shit always rolls downhill in the Corps, and doubly so if you’re a POC. Somehow, calling everyone green doesn’t quite fix everything.

Every Libertarian is the hero of his own masturbation fantasy.

Also part of white male privilege is that we’re taught to stand up for ourselves and challenge authority if we are being mistreated because “the worst they can say is no”. Minority populations face a different equation where there are more potential consequences than simple rejection. This sounds like one of the times

I was once suspended from a white family run business. My position was office admin but I had warehouse experience so when they wanted to open a new warehouse I offered my assistance from every aspect. I cleaned, opened early to let contractors in, and even designed the layout while driving the forklift to fill the

Yes, to all of this.

There is no such thing as “Asian privilege” in America. The reason Asian men make 117% of white men make (according to a pew research study cited by a commenter above) is because U.S. immigration policy favors immigrants that are highly skilled/highly educated. Essentially a good portion of Asians in the U.S. are

All you crybabies in the greys really need to examine why the idea of luck bothers you so much. Think of it as luck instead of white privilege. I don’t sit around telling myself how I am just better than everyone I grew up with because I escaped rural Appalachian poverty. I sit and think about how many lucky random

That’s not what the article is saying. That is what you are hearing because unfortunately its sometimes hard to listen to a nuanced answer about certain things especially when they are personal to us. I grew up around many white people that worked their ass off to get where they are and kudos to them as well as anyone

Another excellent piece, Mr. Harriot.

He went to another company for a 30% wage increase. It’s not the answer you want, but it was easier to just gtfo than fight.

At the start of the article, you hit the nail on the head. White privilage is a very REAL occurrence, and it is a shame some white people get their feelings hurt whenever this conversation comes up. I’d say there is probably a 60/40 split of those white people who get upset are aware of what their privilage has
