jilkon’s right. it doesn’t seem to be the mods themselves they’re worried about but installing them leaves you vulnerable until such time as the exploit is addressed.

i can’t play mine anymore. from around 2010 to 2017 i played killzone 2. around 2012 i got modern warfare 3 and played until around 2016. i got borderlands 2 about 6 months after it came out and i still jump on occasionally and drop a bunch of duped loot. i loved borderlands1 and ended up buying bl2 about 7 times…

it certainly is genuinely very interesting and pretty historically notable but i do not envy the joyless and tedious (i assume) act of collecting and preserving the cd-i. to me it seems like collecting souvenir spoons: it’s more interesting to talk about than to actually use.

the way i see it, this type of hiring practice inherently puts white applicants at a disadvantage but because it was put in place to mitigate the overwhelming advantage that white applicants already enjoy over women and minorities i think it’s fair game. i really can’t say whether it’s right or wrong or effective but…
