I’m not quite surprised that it didn’t slow down for the person along the roadside, either. “Outa my WAY! I’m AUTOPILOTING HERE!!!”

They also had a pretty good arcade game. No, not the terrible Atari 2600 game (which was unrelated) but an actual quarter-taking arcade game from 1983. If you are into emulation at all, you can play it in MAME.
You aren’t understanding what happened. The owner paid DoorDash 160, and received 240, so that leaves 80 bucks. Subtract the 70 in cost to make the pizzas, that leaves 10 profit. This was only the first time as subsequent scams he didn’t really make the pizzas so the profit was closer to the full 80 bucks.
Indeed -I think that the fake $-losing app was called SliceLine, and their model was buying chain pizza (I think Dominos) and re-boxing the slices to sell at a loss as SliceLine to “capture the market.” The Pied Piper guys found this out (I think they peeled SliceLine’s sticker logo off a Dominos box) and then ordered …
He paid DoorDash $160, then DoorDash paid him $240. There was only $80 at play, minus the cost of making the pizzas, so $10 profit. It would be a different story if somebody else bought the 10 pizzas, because there would not be a $160 initial outlay. The $160 is a cost, because DoorDash is not returning the $160…
Why would the Pizza Place tip the drivers? The Customer tips the Driver, not the Restaurant. In this case the driver isn’t even an employee of the restaurant, by all accounts they’re just picking up orders, and are pretty much seen as “customers” to the restaurant. Has a Restaurant ever given you money for picking up…
So... something like... an optical disk?
Because I think certain parts of Jalopnik find it gauche to own a fancy truck. They seem to be blind to the certain reasons for ownership.
Vans are more practical for pretty much everything you just mentioned.
Or, they knew this fully well and decided to not let this interfere with the minimalist style.
And I like it very much.
Not everything has to be for every demographic.
For people with impaired vision, the classic version will still be sold.
This ist not a replacement, this is an option to us buyers. And if you live in a…
I have no issues with Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard owning a building and I think they’re being really good landlords by not charging rent for April. It’s decent and I wish my apartment complex would do the same.
This misunderstanding is not a generational thing, it’s an American thing.
Fuck off, this numbskull has never, ever done a single thing of consequence and you’re worried that he found out how to post something on social media?
Let’s assume what you say (the Stadia team doesn’t have the budget to incentivize devs/publishers to bring their games to the service) is true.
Perhaps they got cold feet but were to far gone to shelve the whole service so they intend not to provide incentives on purpose so they can say that they tried but no one joined so it won’t look like they are killing the service like they do with all of their services?
I hope you have found a...
I’m about 5 hours in the game and I still don't feel like I have the parry timing down yet. I always get destroyed when I block and just resort to smashing the attack button until an enemy dies. It's horrible for boss fights. The combat just isn't clicking much for me and making the game a little disappointing to play.
“The letter J wasn’t invented until 1630"
I think it’s more interesting that Nintendo apparently couldn’t turn a profit off of “short stay hotels”.
Jesus, what the hell is going on with that suspension?? All that effort couldn’t go into an optimum suspension geometry?
