I do this along with folding over the top of the bag. It keeps my hands so clean you could eat off of them.

@Pete, have you tried rolling the lip of the bag over so that the zipper is actually below the opening before you start loading the leftover pieces? That sounds fucked up, but the best way I can describe it would be to think of the way a garbage can liner folds over the rim of the can.

I couldn’t agree with you more. While there were numerous callbacks to the original trilogy in FA, I’m glad the removal of our big bad’s mask as the film’s big payoff wasn’t one of them.
