That walnut apple lentil loaf recipe is amazing but it is my go-to for special occasions because it takes a million years to do all the steps. I would never do it for a weekday lunch!

You can wash the sweater in the machine, just on delicate cycle in cold water. To dry, make sure to roll it up in a dry towel first to get lots of the water out, THEN leave it flat to dry, so it will dry more quickly. I don’t know what to tell you about the pets though. :)
It was probably actually the time in the freezer that changed the texture of your tofu more than the cooking. Some people freeze tofu on purpose just to get the texture change effect.
