Years ago, when working as a cook in a chain steakhouse, we had numerous “odd” customers.
First was just called The Burger Lady. She would order a well-done cheeseburger, but EVERYTHING had to be separate. A well-done patty, patted with a clean towel to remove excess grease, on a small plate. Then the bun on a separate

Psssh. He just stole the idea from Jimmy Butler in the NBA bubble last year.

JFC...just reading this story makes you feel soiled. Are there no sane adults in this kid’s life?

You could get this with your Happy Meal at American McD’s? I knew this as ‘McJuice’ during my Canadian childhood and you only could have it out of a large red cooler/dispenser while playing some kind of field sport. In that context though - manna from heaven.

Are we getting all Tomato Lederhosen on her?

Good for her for using her spotlight and money to try and get these places shut down. This is such a disgusting cycle - the news highlights stories about abusive, creepy ‘treatment’ centers for teens (who have few if any rights if they’re being warehoused by awful parents), there’s an outcry, there’s some shuffling of

Yeh, this.. I’m older (Gen X here), so I had no dam clue who this guy was, but was willing to give it a go. Couldn’t hear him, and I couldnt tell you how many songs he sung as they all kind of blended together (yeh, yeh yeh.. I know.. same thing for my generation of music).

He’s got a point about Fuhrman, though. In our PC society, a person can get labeled a “racist” for nothing more than saying and doing racist things all of the time. It’s not fair. Even worse, once you get tagged with the scarlet “R” of racism, it severely limits your career opportunities. The highest any person who is

I wish I could count on Biden getting pissed off enough about this (assuming this is true) to angrily address it and tell people to shut the fuck up.  But saying nothing and letting this particular idiocy run its course in the news cycle isn’t the worst consolation prize either.

i love this :D I keep thinking of the actual baby baby queers growing up who now have some awesome representation that caters directly to them :)

I was fortunate enough to attend the 2008 Inauguration concert. It was a murderer’s row of talent, including Stevie Wonder, Bruce Sptinsteen, Beyonce, Pete Seeger, John Legend, John Mellencamp, Shakira, James Taylor, U2, Usher, Sheryl Crow, Bon Jovi, and Mary J. Blige.

I like it. She went full Eponine and I am here for it. I think she sounded great.

Disagree about Gaga being pre-recorded. There were definitely some tentative moments in pitch and timing during her performance, which tells me it was live. Now JLo’s performance was clearly manufactured in a recording studio.

I loved her singing! Especially compared to people who sing that song with all the irritating trills!

Oh stop. She looked fabulous and she sounded fabulous. We’ve spent that last four years basically living in the Hunger Games, so it was incredible to have someone as talented as Lady Gaga perform and commemorate this new era dressed as such. Plus I loved that golden microphone. And she did it in front of Mike Fucking

Ahh, the Edge-Lordness of youth. Once you’ve lived a bit more, and heard the National Anthem butchered as many times as I have, you’ll realize that Gaga actually did a decent job.

It was a bold look. I loved it.

Never give up the opportunity to shit on successful women, Joan.

I will simply bookmark thetakeout.com/latest and use that. I hate the new GMG design that is working its way through all the sites (this is essentially the Gizmodo design).
