Brett Favre thinks his is a monster
I have never before wondered about this issue but once the question was asked, I became strangely invested.
The Liger wins due to its skills in magic. It's pretty much my favorite animal.
Damn, do I love this show. I am so going to miss it.
What Wu was doing during the two weeks the episode happened over the course of:
I think it's Wesen versions of the producers...
Can Wesens be racist to each other?
Absolutely. They have a wonderful cast, reasonable production values, and a skilled director. It's only the writers who are crazy. The result is like nothing else you've ever seen.
On a side note, during the end credits of the show, what is that painting?! I see a Wessen Bruce Jenner...
Yes. Just don't expect (as some did) a straightforward, faithful adaptation of the original novel. This is a crazy, revisionist, steampunk-flavored DRACULA that takes enormous liberties with the old story—to good effect.
Renfield's rescue was a practically a homage to the pool scene of "Let the right one in". It was beautifully done and I loved it!!!
Renfield intervenes because he's a smart man who sees a way out. Drac confesses because he sees a smart man who will always have his back.
The writers are at least trying their damndest to get Juliette involved. But every time she does something it feels forced.
A good night for TV. Back to back episodes of us rooting for the monster (I read your recap of Dracula). Loved the sweet old grandma whose big ears perked up at the end when she hears more prayers from who knows where. And Drac getting back at the guys (and gal) who hurt Renfield. Yup, best Friday night TV in a…
I think that's why they are going so crazy. They know the series is only ten episodes, so it's like "fuck it, let's just go nuts." And the result is a thing of beauty.
I'm really enjoying this show. It is actually getting better with each episode. The flashback scene in which Renfield is being attacked by the Americans and later saved by Dracula really reminded me of the pool scene in Let the Right One In.
This show is as crazy as a Jason Statham movie (ie Crank 2). It knows it's crazy and takes it very seriously. I know this is a limited run series but I'm enjoy ever moment of it.
I'm with the OP. From a quick scan, most of those meals look like something I would love to eat. Food snobs who want to dictate what other people eat are just annoying. (re: parent fined by school for packing a lunch deemed not healthy enough a few weeks ago)
20 makes someone the Samantha? God, I must be Samantha's considerably slit tier (I'm going to leave that autocorrect for "sluttier" right here) younger sister.
