Cafe St. Jorge is wonderful.

Literally stretching your hand forward as if reaching for an object just out of your reach. SYTYCD choreo uses it to mean angst, regret, loss, emotional missed connections, breakups and as an excuse to elongate lines. It's pretty ineffective on the show, at this point.

The episode where the kids are snowed in, Skinner s Sense of Snow, does Flanders go with Homer because one or two of his kids are at the school.

I really loathe Mary from a personality standpoint but she has always had the most legit, technical advice.

Agree to disagree, I guess. I love the humor, the writing and the references, and love to hate everyone but Lolli, which I think is the point on a lot of levels - the characters aren't just unsympathetic, they're radically so on so many levels that I'm satisfied screaming at them to not be such fuckups.

Fingers crossed for AV Club coverage of Hindsight season 2. The first season was truly a highlight of television this year.

I'm in a weird place where I'm a gay man and I grew up watching I Love Lucy and Get Smart on TV Land. I don't care about "women in the city" type shows but I love women in the city, and I'll always watch Sutton Foster in anything ever, and I want TV Land to be successful for some weird nostalgia-wrapped-in-nostalgia

I thought she was funny but shallow. I'm also totally convinced that she's a little bit evil and is going to send Liza up shit creek without a tampon, either personally or professionally. Something is not lining up with her, and I'm not entirely sure what it is.

I dunno, I went into Bunheads thinking, "This wasn't terrible, but man, what a poor substitute for Gilmore Girls," and came out thinking, "WHY IS THERE NO SEASON TWO WHY ISN'T SUTTON FOSTER TOURING WITH WHATEVER PLAY SHE'S IN WHEN CAN I GET MORE OF EITHER OF THESE TWO THINGS."

YOU NEED TO BE A PART OF OUR DAUGHTER'S UPBRINGING BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT PARENTS DO BUT I'LL BE DAMNED IF I'M GOING TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT BECAUSE REASONS, YOU SHITTY AUTISTIC DAD.

/me grasps the Simpsons quote opportunity.

I agree, I think it's one of their strongest. I will always be an Adore apologist. I think Perfect is one of the strongest songs they've ever made and that most of the album is stellar.

Vaporwave or bust.

I'm sorry for your loss, and I'm glad you found a sense of comfort and a physical release. Your support means the world to the Mrs.

My mom died a decade ago and I literally just scrolled through the article to make sure that piece of animation was included. I'm heartbroken and elated that it was.

My mom has been dead for a decade and I still get crushed inside at the closing scene with Homer sitting on his car, staring at the stars. It's one of the most beautiful, resonant pieces of animation I've ever seen.

To be fair, I'm a gay dude, not a lady, but yes, there are those of us in the world who like a "normal" looking guy. I also like nice forearms, furry blondes, and receding hairlines - he's rocking that shit out.

My nieces watched this shit all the time.

I would argue that "we are all had by some Demons" rolls beautifully off the tongue.

Looking at titles for this season, I sure hope "Blagsnarst: A Love Story" or "The Longest Distance Relationship" are a continuation of Jeff's story. I'm surprisingly invested.
