How fucking conceited and oblivious do you have to be to type that and hit SEND? Do white people have to insert themselves into everything?
There are legal limits how much one can pay a surrogate in California. Something something buying babies. That’s the extent of my legal knowledge.
I was going to say the same thing. Most surrogacy arrangements through agencies cost about $100k because of limits on both ends. Agencies that do all of the legal work for you might charge more because of legal fees. But this is about right, about normal, for surrogacy.
Not trying to defend those two... but there are limits to compensantion for surrogacy in the sate of California.
I dunno....you had her trapped in her apartment. She’s elderly and 300 lbs. Maybe you work at it a little longer instead of rushing in and eventually killing her.
It doesn’t have to be a calculated move in order to be wrong or racist. Bennett may not have considered the racial implications. Does Bennett always characterize his clients as “the most innocent victim?” Does he frequently use that description for black clients? Whether he thinks about it or not, there’s a very good…
You’re so very wrong. I’m 35, born and raised in MN and only recently moved to a neighboring shithole state because that’s where my job took me. I grew up near St. Cloud, 50 mins NW of the metro where mom is from. Dad is from St. Paul. The last 10 years, St. Cloud has seen a very large number of Somali refugees settle…
Uh, English is one of the official languages of India. When I went there many of the major newspapers like The Times of India were in English. All the news websites I’ve seen coming out of India are in English as well. It’s true there are hundreds on languages in that country, but news is very much reported in…
I feel like this murder is getting a lot more coverage than the assault of Sureshbhai Patel, which provoked huge outrage in India - that cop ended up walking.
Perhaps this author needs to state this more clearly, but the lawyer is absolutely right in advocating (with hyperbole) for their client as much as they can. However, it is not without irony or coincidence (take your pick) that he represented a high-profile Black victim in which two separate juries could not reach a…
So if you are just ask likely to know as not to know, and it’s not that big of a deal, if you knew, why *wouldn’t* you disclose it?I get your point, and there’s definitely stigma behind it, but if you could take precautions against spreading it, then why wouldn’t you?
If you know, then yes. Every hook up.
FAKE NEWS!
“full disclosure is not realistic for every hookup.”
Maybe get it yourself and then return with your ‘data’.
Ummm, yes it is.
Why is that too much to expect from people? Just, don’t be super shitty and disclose things that are important like that. It’s hard, one of my closest friends has Herpes and for a long time she stopped hooking up with guys because she was too ashamed to talk about it. Then she got a bit more used to the idea of it -…
And, if he had just disclosed that he has it, she could have made the decision whether or not to have sex with him, and that would probably have been the end of it. But since he lied (lying by omission is still lying), now the whole world knows he has herpes, and he has to defend against a lawsuit.
If you KNOW you have an STI, and you don’t disclose that to your partners, then FUCK YOU. I’d sue, too. Doesn’t matter how serious the disease is or how treatable.
