Tyrion made the decision to kill Tywin when he went up to his chambers, before he found Shae in his dad's bed.

Just about done with the series and didn't enjoy it much at all - may just be done with these Marvel Netflix shows.

I'd give it a C for just being a very average episode of TV - it just wasn't that good.

Yea but they dropped it after that - Tyrion never finds out from Jamie that she actually loved him and his motivation for killing Tywin is solely based on him not standing up for him during his trial. The show changed his exit from KL a good deal.

I feel like the Netflix Marvel shows have become very average to bad - haven't been as disappointed with something as I was with The Defenders in quite a while.

Well the show also cut out Tysha which was the most important factor in Tyrion turning on his entire family and killing his dad, so seems par for the course.

Good article ruined by asshole trying to be cool usIng woke.

I don't believe for a second that Disney won't keep the same characters around if they're all successful at box office. They'll try to make Han Solo, Boba Fett, and Obi-Wan trilogies before they do anything else.

I'll go see it if it's made but I'd rather have more films like Rogue One focused on new characters than more spinoffs about a single character from the original trilogy. The Star Wars universe is huge yet it feels so limited based on what Disney is doing so far.

I think they do a previously on which would highlight the important stuff but there are tie-ins with S1 in S2.

I'm not sure I understand why you think there is nothing at risk for the characters…they all have lost plenty over the first few seasons of the show. Gordon came into money but lost his wife and is in the process of losing his mind. Joe has still never captured the success he has been desperate for since S1 and lost

Do you watch the show? Cameron has always been a lead on the show and Gordon / Joe remain leads in S2 / S3. The biggest cast change they made was they gave Donna more to do and that worked because Kerry Bishe is terrific. The reason the show started to get better reviews was because the writing and plotting in S2 and

How much of it have you even seen?

You're comparing Essos to America basically and calling GRRM a fool for telling the story of America getting rid of slavery poorly. But Essos is very clearly meant to be the Middle East / North Africa based on the sets and architecture so likely his inspiration for the stories he is telling is very different from what

I'm sure this has been said before, but you do realize that a lot of the stuff you mentioned were adapted straight from the books?

I like Lee Pace's character and his performance in general. The character I hated in S1 was Gordon - he was a real ass for most of it.

S2 and S3 of Halt and Catch Fire are really good seasons of TV and S1 really isn't that bad when you consider what it is building to. This has to be the most enjoyable show I watch that most people I talk to have never even heard of.

I do because it's a really good show that people wrote off way too early.

Honestly look at last season's ratings - the fact that AMC renewed it for a final season still is amazing. Not going to gripe about lack of commercials for it.
