Venture Bros. = the TV equivalent of ASOIAF books.

They just aired a one hour special earlier this year. In Venture Bros land - that constitutes a two-year grace period.

Hell on Wheels is out there and hasn't really found a big audience. Deadwood was on HBO and got cancelled prematurely because it struggled with ratings too. I agree westerns are entertaining but I don't think in this day they are proven to be breadwinners for networks.

    Jeffrey Donovan is in it.

Cast Olyphant and Goggins in it and I'll watch every episode - guaranteed.

I would cause I think Farrell is almost always entertaining.

Yea I liked Fargo better too and the cast for S2 looks awesome. I'm especially excited for the mini Burn Notice reunion that I'm not sure anyone really planned for.

I honestly found this episode tough to get through - the only parts that were remotely interesting to me were the ones Colin Farrell was in.

I enjoyed the episode although I have to say, I wouldn't trust a guy who loaned that one dude 300k to manage my money. That had red flags all over it.

The final reveal did suck but didn't so many of the cases of the week on the show as well? I mean the show was all about the characters - if you focused on the case details every week themselves you would think the show was terrible.

The trailers for that did look interesting - I'll check it out.

That's pretty disappointing - I've been watching Burn Notice on UHD and remembered how much I had enjoyed that show for what it was when it was on. Sure there were a few plodding seasons but overall it was usually a fun watch. Was hoping for more of the same with Nix's new show.

Yea you make a good point - it really is a bit of a shame they didn't develop Kevan more this season. Would have rather seen that then anything that happened in Dorne.

Hopefully, I like Littlefinger. Actually it would make sense for him to siege Winterfell since that is what he intended to do. But I wonder if this episode really has the time for a Stannis vs Ramsey vs Littlefinger vs Brienne and the almighty Podrick. Might be that entire battle gets pushed to early S6.

Most of the stuff that has happened this season was set-up heavily in the first few episodes when a lot of people complained nothing was happening.

Well I believe Kevan will bite it because they made a point to note that he was heading back to King's Landing to support Tommen while Cersei was in jail. And Varys hasn't been seen in long enough that him reappearing would be a genuine surprise to non book readers. I think the twist makes sense. All they need to do

My hopes for the season finale: Jon gets stabbed, Dany meets the khalasar, Varys kills Kevan (both are in the finale according to IMDb), Balon dies (offscreen is fine but why, oh why is he still alive?), and Doran reveals his revenge plan (they have to justify Dorne somehow….right?). I also want to see the Mountain

Technically he never succeeded in burning Mance alive because Jon Snow killed him with an arrow midway through.

He gets stabbed many times and that is how the book ends - no one knows if he will survive or not but I'd be surprised if he didn't.

I couldn't stop thinking about the lawyer as Lloyd Braun on Seinfeld. If they modified his backstory a little, he very well could have been Lloyd Braun.
