You know the double rainbow man?

Oh man, this was so sweet. My teeth hurt now, but I guess I can stand it.

Okay, then how does that reflect on MB?

Sorry, knew I forgot to invite someone.

MB's standup act is not racially tinged at all, and I don't find it hacky.

The Netflix special is hilarious and he's just as good in person—definitely recommend seeing him live, if you can. I just saw him in Columbus recently and nearly pissed myself laughing. Of course, if I had pissed myself afterward, getting a photo with him afterward would have been more awkward.

Whenever a guy talks to "females", I immediately envision Snagglepuss saying "felicitous felines".

I happened to read Insanely Great this weekend, and the review is spot on, in terms of its treatment of Jobs (though I really liked the art/font and read it in about an hour—it wasn't a "chore" to read).

When I was in college, I went through a brief period of watching Mr. Ed during a break between classes (brief because the TV schedule changed, not because I didn't dig absurd horse sitcoms).

One of the cruelest things I've ever done is tell my little brother, who was reading The Red Fern Grows in class, that the book ends happily with the dogs romping through the woods.

I love finding the occasional movie that actually improves on the book.

For me the happy ending (for Maurice and Scudder, at least) was a huge part of the appeal. I was so tired of tragic ends in all the LGBT movies I was watching. Come to think of it, My Beautiful Laundrette's sweetness when it comes to the central couple was also a big draw for me.

You know it! A+ naked Rupert Graves.

The highlight one for me was "Maurice".

I went through the same "I'ma watch all these LGBT movies" stage around the same age. I remember this one being good, when compared to some of the more recent low-budget LGBT movies that were coming out at the time.

I couldn't have said it better myself. His hitting her is a very big deal and was treated as such immediately. Initially, the outcome of this storyline is very on point—it's the decades of lazy writers who characterized him as Hank Pym: Wife Beater who were in the wrong.

I'm very much a feminist, but I've always been pissed off by the bad rap Hank gets. Striking out while literally having a mental breakdown does not mean he's an irredeemable wife-beater. That said, Jan is the best and was right to leave him.

I have a friend who had an inexplicable teenage crush on him. She even had a David Spade birthday cake.

Something I never thought I'd say—I think you're being far too hard on Mama's Family.

I saw the preview for this at my very first SDCC and was SO EXCITED for it. Then I saw the actual movie, and all that's left of my hopes and dreams is a faded old promo shirt I got at the panel.
