In a way I kinda agree... but not on the bad show part. I like Enterprise. But the people on there, while sympathetic, could be huge xenophobic jerks, like how they treated T’Pol at first. So rather than an orchestral theme that shows how noble it is to explore, a rock ballad — like listened to by Zephram Cochrane…

What’s worse, is the visuals that went along with the theme were fantastic - that speed through of human transportation innovation that must have totally been designed over a more Star Trek like instrumental theme.

I know Kristen Ritter is tall, but that screen shot seems to suggest she’s about 6'8".

I really like the DS9 opening because of how delicate and austere the music feels (and how it boils down to “isn’t this model we made SO AWESOME”), but it certainly doesn’t have the thrilling quality of the TNG opening. Of course, TNG has the advantage of borrowing its theme music from a movie.

The opening theme of Big Bang Theory is horrible.

It’s a sad premise. He’s always leaping from life to life, hoping that his next leap will be the leap home.

No way, man. The opening to Quantum Leap is the best. The “striving to put right what once went wrong” narration is one of my favorite parts of the show.

Also, not Rod Stewart.

They also do a new theme every season, so if you don’t like it (it sounds like you’re talking about the first season theme) you just have to wait for S2, whose theme is way better for my money.
