Your story is truly touching and I appreciate you sharing it. I wish you and your family the best in these difficult times.

America will. There are vulnerable people here who might not.

Every feminist commenter on every feminist website I used to read back then said over and over and over that attacking Sarah Palin in a sexist manner was just plain wrong. It was mostlt liberal dudes and decidely NON-feminist women engaging in that crap.

She also played herself on The Simpsons:

I know a lot of people here need to be better. At least some here try to learn. But I’m sorry that has been your experience.

But they need to get a clue. If they’re busy at work, text us now and then and let us know they’re still interested.

There’s something very disturbing about trying to understand why you like admittedly misogynistic, sexist, arrogant assholes. What is so beautiful and poetic about that? You doth protest too much, my dear. I hope you don’t dare to question why a woman would vote for Donald Trump.

Wow, he was a prize missed out on, huh? Bet you’re still lying awake nights beating yourself up for not weaving a web while watching a mirror for his return.

I can’t stand guys like that. Unless he put a ring on that finger and asked you to wait for him while he went off to war, I don’t understand why he thought you wouldn’t move on with your life.

Yeah, maybe they’re just trying to teach their kids that it’s rude to pet strangers? For this, I thank them.

Yeeeeahhh... it doesn’t matter if you “care”. Your ass giving a shit about something beyond the end of your own nose is not what defines racism or cultural appropriation. If it’s not your race or culture being appropriated, then your opinion means literally nothing.
P.S. “I really don’t care what color, race someone

No, I don’t. She rightly finds the way the police treated her, a victim, traumatizing and despicable. The police actually disrespected her in a manner she found very personal after she almost died, but as she pointed out, she doesn’t know the person who shot her. That man didn’t talk directly to her or look her in

A. Really unnecessary tone there.

I don’t understand why the police treated her in such a disrespectful and accusatory manner simply for being an innocent bystander who was shot. I mean, I understand—she’s Black, young, and was at a hip hop concert so she is automatically under suspicion simply for existing—but how is that proper police work?

I always wondered about that. Like why do all cops in 70s-90s TV shows know what cocaine tastes like? I have done coke a few times, but like I couldn’t tell you what it tastes like (except snot dripping down the back of my throat). Was the implication supposed to be that all these cops were massive coke fiends?

“Later, he called and left me a message. ‘Can you believe this? Who would say this? I don’t want people to think this about you,’” she said. “He thought that I would try to go out with him...”

I’m not denying his impact by any means. Just his ability to not play himself out. His music has definitely evolved, sure, but any decent artist’s work will over the course of 20 years.

I’ve only come to just realize that I spent my entire childhood lying. About everything. When I read comments on here about “Oh, I CAN’T LIE. My WHOLE FACE gets red!” I’m like.....Really?

What an asshole. If he thought you were that drunk to not know his name he shouldn’t have fucked you. What a dick - benefitting and then trying to make *you* feel bad.

commie! this is America!
