A masterpiece.
A masterpiece.
It does start to look that way by the end of the season. Even Chuck's self-inflicted head wound starts to seem subconsciously calculated, and that all of this illness has been an elaborate plot by Chuck to, manipulate, bait, and entrap Jimmy.
Brilliant film, and probably fairly true-to-life for at least some of the billions of humans who've lived off-word as pets.
Druken Master 2, also great.
Hands down, Army of Shadows has to be the best movie ever made about the French Resistance.
This movie's not bad, better than "Drive," IMO- but Adjani's stunning beauty is probably the main reason to check it out. Bruce Dern, as the luckless cop on "The Driver's" tail, is also good, but Bruce Dern is always good.
All those betting on Wun Wun's demise will lose big when his dog, Clifford, enters the fray.

Yes! They really love movies, especially my younger son, but I don't want them to be passive consumers.
SUNDAY!
At the Winterfell Battlegrounds!
It's…
I think it will be as effective as when Victor tried to shoot her, but I could see her pretending to be a Stepford Wife just long enough to get unchained and within arms reach.
To heck with the haters, I love Honest Trailers. So do my kids, for that matter (at least the ones they've seen for kid-friendly movies), and it has actually helped them become more discerning viewers of pop culture.
it could still happen, I suppose. The Creature killing Abraham Van Helsing was such a shocking waste and pretty much the end to their whole quest for a cure to vampirism. Too bad Victor thinks that his Stepford Wife Project is more important.
Interesting. Of course, there's been a lot of speculation that the competing religions of Westeros and Essos are myths connected to Lovecraft's "Great Old Ones" and "Outer Gods."
Yas! No doubt, there will be Hell to Pay.
Thing Magazine: Final Issue (No Longer a Thing)
It's actually all been taking place in an Alien Zoo!
This moment, too, could be great fodder for a behind-the-scenes meta episode.
Maybe they could do an episode with Larry meeting up with Sanders on SNL, in which Bernie blames him for [BLANK].
Fincher's eye is genial, no doubt. Story-wise, I think his style works best with open-ended, unconventional plot lines, such as in Fight Club, Zodiac, The Social Network, and The Game, but suffers with more conventional, formulaic mysteries, like Girl With a Dragon Tattoo, Panic Room, or Gone Girl after Amy…
