No I’m sick of this false information being parroted. Nothing would have changed with regards to Roe. It wasn’t a 5-4 decision. It was effectively 6-3 decision that ended Roe.

Not a single ruling would have been different if RBG retired during Obama. I don’t know why people continue to think anything would have changed when that is objectively not true.
I can’t find any answer about this. If she resigns today, and another Senator is appointed by Newsom, does that person take her spot on the committee or is it another thing that has to clear the Senate making a lot of the talk about judges moot anyways?
I think it is clear that the Supreme Court will issue a similar ruling, which means court intrusion into the expert decisions of a government agency based on nothing more than pure political beliefs.
