@salviati: Android has to slow down so that everyone can enjoy the latest and greatest stuff. Slightly over 50% are still using 1.6 and below... You're at the mercy of manufacturers to update, unless you are a geek and do it yourself. Shouldn't be that way. Yes, options and choices are anound in the android world,

@Flail: jailbreaking is easy. Amazingly easy. Plug in, one click, reboot phone, done. It's not very buggy, and offers great function.

@talkingstove: That contract could have been modified, changed, or have stipulations that we know nothing about.

@BadPlasmid: I am not getting that vibe, but I could understand if that's what is going on here. Look at the kind of animosity Apple draws. On the other hand, there are the fanboys...

@Kuwabara Kazuo: MS didn't try to win? What company doesn't try to win!

@chefgon: Elaborate, please, because I'm not knowledgable on this. I thought the war was not with IBM. I mean, IBM and Motorola made all their PowerPC tech.

@Bluecold: Memorial Day is an American holiday.

@N@tedog: You can send it to me. I'm a Nigerian prince and just need the monitor to hook up to my computer. Then I can unlock my bank account online and wire transfer you a million dollars. But send the monitor first.

This is nothing special.

@mverbora: I use IceClean. It's just a slick GUI that performs a bunch of native Linux cleanup ops and has a some real helpful things to boot, like rebuilding spotlight index, force emptying trash, cleaning safari, clearing root and user logs. All good stuff. I would also recommend using an uninstallers, like

Project Natal is watching you masturbate.

I heart free apps that do things that Apple should have done in the first place. No, let's get an app out there that scans your Mac for all those hidden, out of the way files all over your system folders from apps you deleted before you ever discovered these handy uninstallers.

Let us not forget Sony posting another huge loss while Apple posted record gains.
