Bring Back Duckman!

Grant has definitely grown as an actor and in the last few years has done some good work as an elder statesman type. I could maybe see him now as a Hannibal, not quite the menacing suaveness of Fuller’s show, but “yeah, European psychologist who might be akiller?” I could see that.

I can’t see either Grant or Cusack as Lecter. I could see Cusack as Will Graham.

Sitcoms are the easiest to bounce back with. First, all “in studio” sets like The Conners (no audiences, right now); then mixed studio/location shoots like The Goldbergs. The hour dramas (L&Os, CSIs), etc procedurals will be next. As noted here, we’re going to see a LOT of “two handers” (two person scenes) and XCUs

Hey, he was also Woolsey on Stargate, can Brent Spiner say that?

This one is so funny to me. Athletes train at high altitude all the time wearing restrictive masks to increase their capacity to process oxygen. If they can run on a treadmill at 5000ft wearing a mask, you can fucking well breathe wearing a mask while your fat ass is dragging itself around WalMart.

Those breathing problem people sure seem to have an easy time screaming at everyone.

I’m tired of all the idiots yelling “but what about people with COPD and severe asthma, your mask mandate will be bad for them”. I’m sure that anyone with a major respiratory risk factor strongly supports universal masking and is staying the fuck at home if they can

Wow, epic hack. I’d start looking at some dude at Twitter being responsible. If it’s an outside hack then it’s a hack for the record books, a lot of those passwords had to be really strong. Does Twitter have dual authentication?

Did the same actor play the ancient humanoid and the Founder? What if the ancient humanoids didn’t die out but evolved into the founders?

The missed opportunity, of course, is to cast Combs as one of the ancient humanoids that seeded a bunch of planets with DNA. If every planet has a little Jeffrey Combs DNA in its primordial soup, then there’s always the possibility of a Combs-like human, Cardassian, Klingon, Ferengi, or other humanoid emerging at some

“Grand Hotel” is another example. Even with Eva Longaria producing, the show didn’t get a second season.

Does Univision not count as a network? Because even in chalky-ass Portland we can catch that OTA.

I don’t even want to imagine the buzzword salad that gets tossed when firms compete for a bid to advise companies on which cloud service to use. Like, how do you dress that one up?

They chopped way too much out to fit it into 30 minutes. You skip from Sarah being buried alive to walking down a road to being in the heart of a nuclear plant with no context. And the entire thing was like that.

I can’t watch The Hand of Fear because I’ll break down and cry like a little girl at the end. So sue me. I’m still not over losing Liz.

I don’t understand Twitch. It’s like someone opened a garbage store, then one day decided, “I can’t have all this trash lying around here!”

Always remember, HR only exists to help the company by dealing with the people that will hurt their bottom line. Sometimes (not nearly enough) this means that they get rid of the harassers, and far too often this means they get rid of the people that report the harassers.

I recall the early days of Flash, where incompatible versions were being released at a break-neck pace; the kind of pace that my little dial-up connection made painful. Nothing like spending 20-30 minutes getting a fat download of the latest update to get to the 20 second website interaction I wanted to have or the 30

As I said when it came out, Thor only works when Loki is onscreen because Branagh had zero interest in Thor and all kinds of interest in Hiddleston’s Super-Iago from Space.

I’d say that the story of Thor is average, but the visuals (especially the visuals of Asgard) are fucking awesome. The only weird bits of direction are Branagh’s overuse of dutch angles.
