Not something that’s happened yet but my whole dream if I win the lottery is to immediately fly to somewhere quiet and natural in Hawaii, and handle all matters from there.

Oops! What I meant is that two couples cross-married in that way, and that brought all of the roommates closer. So my mom, my aunt, and their other roommates decided to meet each year.
Just go north past Lake Millie Lacs, get off of 169 onto Pioneer and then to 436. Turn off the road onto the gravel trail with the tree with a 90 degree bent. Then look for the line of cars and the enormous goofy dog!
I have a very small extended family, only seven cousins including me on both sides of the family combined. But, my mom’s college roommate married dad’s college roommate and mom married dad! So every year, the original four women and their families get together at a really rural cabin. Have up to 30 people some years…
Not really a relationship but I first hooked up with my dorm neighbor when we were 19. Like, right next door.
Not exactly my disaster but funny!
My very busy mom asked me one night to make a really simple recipe- salsa chicken and rice. I have a history of messing up in the kitchen, so she thought- four ingredients! What can go wrong?
My dad got revenge through gifts!
Not Christmas, but definitely a holiday given the time period. I have never fucked up so badly in a language before or since.

If I have work stuff to review or read or calls, so that I am not tethered to my computer, I pace. Then I walk for a little over an hour in the evening during e-mail catch-up/Internet time.
I have covered between 6,100 and 6,200 miles total but over two FitBit accounts. So I am only up to the “length of the Nile” badge!
Sometimes I do that, or sing snippets of song that are stuck in my head! One time I had just seen “Fun Home” and went to Target.
Whenever I live with other people and have to eat while stressed tf out, I eat in the bathroom or closet.
ETA: Definitely helped my illegible handwriting! I was one of the last of the Millennial cohort to learn cursive in school, and my grandmother also taught me her style, which is basically WW2 era copperplate. So they have this “messy vintage” look.
Wife and I started trying for a baby. So, give them to my kids, I think.
My friend growing up that I have mentioned previously in stories either loved even numbers or was hungry, because if I would give 1 candy or snack piece, she would always take another and say, “I like even numbers!”
Not totally secret, but just my wife and anyone who stays with us knows:
