@Gyaruson: The AXE thing, for me, remains one of the more cringe-worthy in-game advertising moments in recent history. Look at that... Horrible.

@Kobun: At least he's still all scrawny. Whose to say he's suddenly a skilled fighter either? All he does is look super creepy, which is sort of the point for Scarecrow. And, like all of Batman's foes, he'll think he has the upper hand, think he can take on Batman, and fail horribly. I don't think striking a pose

When is there going to be an article investigating or at least questioning all of these big-name titles slipping to 2010? This is starting to get ridiculous. By the time October rolls around, the holiday season's release slate is going to be Modern Warfare 2 and nothing else... 2010 is going to be crowded.

@jgibson75: I know Conviction has undergone a redesign since it was first announced, but come on - this was the one game I was most excited about this year... And now POOF, gone.

@maureliuswolf: That's how they handled the Ghostbusters flight suit codes too - sealed inside the case.

@rich8606: All I want to see is the Riddler. NOW.

@ThursdayNext: Something tells me the common fear people have of needles is the reason they're there and look scary as hell.

@D-K, owhoo... how unfortunate..: The difference, of course, is that Sony's Columbia Pictures owns the Ghostbusters license. Why would it be in EA's best interest to make Brutal Legend as PS3 timed exclusive?

@Komrade Kayce - Hero of Soviet Kotaku: Thankfully, the GameStop by me is nice enough to tape the sheets for these sorts of exclusive code promotions to each pre-ordered game when they come in. I've never had a problem getting one.

@ChimDeathmonkey: All that we need to make this complete is a Jake and the Fat Man reference.

Better late then never...

@jeebus_unit: That's unfortunate. Don't let the bright colors and cartoony graphics confuse what was probably one of the greatest franchises on the PS2 and continues to be an example of polished game design and briliant writing and character work for something a lame as Gex.

I cannot wait for the next R&C. Ratchet & Clank Future was probably the best game in the series since Up Your Arsenal, though still not quite equal to it. And Quest for Booty was remarkably well done for DLC. Here's hoping that going a little outside the box with more Clank and his time-recording adventures doesn't

@Fatty Shcock: If I had to choose one of the R&C games for you to dive into, I'd recommend going for the third entry, Up Your Arsenal. It's got the series' gunplay and platforming all perfected by then and in good balance, has great sidequests, and probably the best total roster of weapons in the series. If UYA

I don't have a whole lot of money to invest in an HDTV. I'd rather spend what little disposable cash I can on new games and just rely on my trusty SDTV than spend it all so I can play my older games in shiny HD... I've made it this far, so I figure I can live without it for the time being.

@kicking222: Alpha Protocol looks like it could be pretty cool. I'm excited to give that a try.

@kreepmode: Dead Space was really the last game to creep me out. It never got truly scary for me, but it did a masterful job of making me feel uneasy the entire time I was playing it. Having an enemy sneak up on you when you can't hear them in a room without oxygen is spooky!

@fireb0x: Wacky Races on the Dreamcast had the worst rubber-banding I've ever seen in a racing game, Mario Kart 64 included. You could be miles ahead, safely in 1st place and as soon as the last lap started you'd suddenly find yourself in a white-knuckle chase just to regain a respectable 4th. Stupid game...
