How about the fact that the people who make these calls are always “so scared” of someone that they need to call the police, while brazenly standing right in front of that someone so they can watch them call.

I see you, and raise!

I think you’re probably right. There was a former Delta employee commenting on here, and my experience as a long-time Delta passenger backs this up too, I’m sure the $30 was the front-line action that the airport/gate manager was allowed to authorize.

I know we rag on NASCAR for being boring, or just driving around in a circle for 3 hours, but its still the only sporting event where I’ve seen a man die on live TV, so...

I hope Kamala absolutely destroys him in the debate this weekend.

My office building has two of the old blue mailboxes outside of the front door. Recently, I noticed that they have the year of manufacture stamped on the bottom left hand corner of the right side panel. One of these boxes was manufactured in 1967!

This is the right question

I love conspiracy theorists that simultaneously believe that the US government is so inept that it can’t do anything right, and so diabolical that they can orchestrate these massive operations that, when you dig into them, would require hundreds (or thousands) of people to keep their mouths shut about the horrible

I think ‘Miami’ in the early 2000's could definitely work. Hit it with a CSI:Miami color palate, battle against/join up with some cartels, and you’re good to go.

I have really mixed feelings about ME:3. I didn’t end up playing it until after the ‘fix’ was released, so I didn’t have a viscerally disappointed reaction to it the way that people played it right away did. That being said, when I did play through it, I looked up the unity thresholds that you needed in order to

I continue to believe that a prequel trilogy headlined by Obi-wan as played by Ewan McGreggor that focused on the story of Obi-wan’s attempt and ultimate failure to train Anakin, rather than Anakin being the focus would have been much stronger.

‘Made me realize that maybe prematurely-canceled things can be better off if they’d just stay canceled’: I think Arrested Development also stands as an example of this. Nostalgia is a powerful bank, but one that’s heavily invested in sub-prime loans.

I think it actually really picks up about 2/3rds of the way through the 3rd season. The run of episodes from ‘Meld’ to ‘Tuvix’ (with the exception of ‘Innocence’) is at least watchable, with some being quite good, and Tuvix in particular arguably being a Top 5/10 Voyager ep.

Agreed that Move Along Home is not a good episode, but I do think it stands as an example of why DS9 overall is ‘best of Trek’ in my opinion.

They were wearing protective gear, but I didn’t see any weapons, or overly aggro behavior by any of the officers. I generally don’t give police the benefit of the doubt anymore, but on this day, in this video, these officers seem like they responded professionally to a situation where they thought the guy might start

I mean, they came in wearing body armor and leading with a riot shield, but I don’t see any drawn weapons in the video, nor do I see any cops yelling at him to get on the ground or anything like that.

Just went back and looked, the the final third of the second season of Voyager is really strong Trek. I’m not 100% sure I agree with you on Innocence, and Resolutions (the penultimate episode of the season) is a clunker, but outside of those two, the entire run from Meld to Basics is very entertaining.

I think that it really boils down to, rich kids totally devoid of any idea of what it means to succeed on your own/who have had everything else in life handed to them, so why not this.

Did you read Lori Laughlin’s kid’s tweets?
